It's like blaming Adams or Rolls and not GGG and Charlo.
You're right. You can't blame Thurman for taking the fight and he's in a no win situation. He won't get credit unless he KO's Pac and forget about it if he loses or if it's a close fight.

Sadly, this is the likely outcome. Thurman bulked up because he is going for power

That said, it's not near as much pressure as what's on Thurman. Keith is still young and this is a bit of a make or break for him. He's either getting himself back in the mic with top guys or getting his first loss from an old fighter. Keith is really under the gun.
I agree the pressure is mostly on Thurman. I think Manny's faded but good matchmaking got him in with Vargas, Mattysse and Broner. Vargas is OK but overrated, Broner loses every time he steps up in class and Mattysse was finished but came back for a payday.
Manny's an ATG, but the best you can say about him now is that he's the top guy in the second tier of welterweights. (I hope he proves me wrong.)

I think Pacquiao has got enough in him to beat Thurman.
Thurman is already shook because he knows he is fighting a legend in the sport. Pacquiao is just going after a notch on his belt so he has that mental confidence he needs.
Pacquiao by UD with a knockdown

But we haven't seen that "One Time" in "a very long time". :-)
Yup , your right about that
I’m under the impression that Thurman wants out of boxing so I think he’s just trying to get as much hype possible ( $$$ )

im not too sure about this, i no he is 41, and he should retire, but his last performances, even as a oldie has been good.

i totally get what the ts means, but he is still looking good in training and sparring.

i think thurman should be given credit for the w, and a prime pac would have a similar result against thurman. so it should hurt his legacy a lil bit

Prime Pac vs Thurman, before his injury and all that time he was away from boxing, would've been a great fight.

There're so many (not that it is a bad thing) fresh matchups for Pacquiao @147 under the Al Haymon banner. No way will he lose to a Thurman who only shook off rust against a Josesito leveled opponent not a Garcia, Porter, etc level fighter.

It is I guess the perk of fighting at an advanced age but you're trading away your health-your own life.---Fighting at that age can seriously seriously deteriorate a fighter at an accelerated threshold. This is a very dangerous trade off and people know this. The risk is very high and so should the reward be if a fighter succeeded.
