Whatever Result Pac Can't Lose vs Thurman

Pac's 40, faded and just about finished. Once the most exciting fighter of era, now he reminds me of Cotto and the skillful matchmaking that lengthened Miguel's career and led to his bogus MW title.
If Manny loses to Thurman in a competitive fight, it would almost be considered a victory.
Pac's an ATG but let's hope he quits soon and goes out on a high note.

I like Pac but I think you're right. Thurman's out to make a statement after all the criticism he's gotten lately.

Anything pacquiao does now can further his legacy but it can't take away from it.

Pac is not past it, he still has a little left in the tank.

He's gonna give Thurnan a hell of a fight and if Keith doesn't have his A game, Pac is going to win the fight. I hope Thurman comes forward so we get an action packed fight and the best man wins.

I guess it's all about which Thurman will we see? I thought "One Time" was most impressive when he beat Porter.
But we haven't seen that "One Time" in "a very long time". :-)

People said the same thing with Spence/Mikey fight wherein Spence is in a lose-lose situation. Charlo is always in a showcase fight. It's a lose-lose situation. They like it that way, yet they keep putting themselves in the same situation over and over again. Thurman won't fight Spence. So what can fans do about it?

It's like blaming Adams or Rolls and not GGG and Charlo.

Sounds like you're preparing yourself for him to lose. Thurman isn't even seen by most as being one of the top 2 in the division anymore. Losing to Keith pretty much confirms that Manny is no longer top guy. Everyone's going to be calling for him to retire already. Let's not pretend that even losing will be a win.

That said, it's not near as much pressure as what's on Thurman. Keith is still young and this is a bit of a make or break for him. He's either getting himself back in the mic with top guys or getting his first loss from an old fighter. Keith is really under the gun.
