New age fans don't know how good they have it and they have 2 undefeated top guys still and only 2 guys out of prime in top 10 who are Povetkin and Ortiz ...well 3 ..Pulev.

This is the youngest and largest stacked HW division ever but ...well it must suck bc that's what boxing fans say...lol

          Great post!!!

Fury, wilder, Ruiz, Joshua, Ortiz, usyk, whyte, Parker at the top...

Then you've got a handful of fringe contenders like Allen, price, arreola, chisora, as well as some names I'm forgetting.

You've got undefeated fighters like kownacki n Rivas who could turn out to be special.

Then you've ggotblue chip prospects such as dubois, Gorman, efe, n a few others I'm forgetting.

Even if you aren't excited about this crop, just be GRATEFUL it's not 2004 when John Ruiz, lamon Brewster, n Chris Byrd were champs. Those days were terrible, n the division is in such better shape nowadays.

Joshua is the one not making fights.

Ruiz needs to eliminate AJ from the equation, and then it’s gonna be a hell of a time cause they all will fight.

Just need Hearn out of equation.

I get what you're saying but I think the opposite is true .
The Ruiz loss could potentialy just be a bump in the road. Losing to Ruiz a second time is the equivalent of the wheels falling off .
Because of that and the possibility of losing again I think Hearn will rush to make the Wilder fight next .
Ruiz will still be a name and can get Fury , his rematch with Parker or even fight with Joyce who's been talking shet about him .

Point is . I see more possibilities for good match ups in the HW division if AJ wins the rematch .
If he loses he either goes on a U.K bum smashing tour or retires to an island and tends to his garden .
Which is Not good for the division .

What we have in Fury, Wilder, Joshua, Whyte, Ortiz and now Ruiz, with Usyk to come, is a roster of heavyweights with massively different physical attributes and skill sets. The triangle theory will not work here and I genuinely don't believe any of them beats any other ten times out of ten, except maybe Fury against Ruiz and Usyk because of the size difference.

So I don't give a **** about who's overhyped or whatever, the important thing is that they just fight. A defeat should not be the end of the world to any of these fighters. Wilder is not a bum because he got outboxed by Fury, because he could still KO the rest of them, and he could even KO Fury in a rematch. Joshua is still a top level heavyweight even though Ruiz smashed him around the ring, because he could still beat all of them.

It's a great time for heavyweight boxing. Just ****ing fight.
                  - -Does that make you dip....?

Do you honestly think AJ won't fight those guys if he beats Ruiz ?

I think Hearns smart enough of a business man than to leave all that money on the table .
Plus who will AJ fight ?
And will the Paying public accept it ?
