So why is old ass ggg and his fans want a third fight now? He older now... obviously ggg and his fans don’t have the same sentiment as you. Canelo vs ggg 3 is not my first preference but it's an acceptable fight. Since Canelo still hasn't been able to beat old ggg convincingly. Why is it so hard for you to admit that golden boy and Canelo didn't want any smoke with ggg after canelo beat Cotto? Is it that hard to admit your favorite fighter pulled a duck move? Canelo could've gotten that same 60-40 split back with ggg when he beat Cotto if he just tried to negotiate, but instead golden boy was out there pretending like Canelo needed to grow into 160 (meanwhile Canelo had no issue jumping right into fights with Chavez Jr and fielding in different weight classes). Oscar was out there offering low ball flat fees with no ppv incentive. Stop being a Canelo fan for a min and pretend to be a boxing fan. It was a duck. Plain and simple. This what I mean when I talk about Canelo fans. If this same situation happened with another fighter who wasn't Mexican, you'd have no problem saying it was a ****. what is so difficult to understand? He waited ggg out but its not like he wasn't still a good fighter. He just wasn't in his prime anymore. Just like the version of Cotto that Canelo fought. Canelo probably wasn’t afraid of the challenge but his handlers were t confident of a win and they still don’t like the matchup cause he gets put through the ringer every time they fight. First fight he clearly lost and got a draw. Second fight could’ve been a draw at best for canelo but ok he got the win because of who he is. He got away with it and him and his team obviously aren’t 100% confident they could win a 3rd fight or they’d take it because it’s the biggest money fight to make for both fighters.
