what is so difficult to understand? He waited ggg out but its not like he wasn't still a good fighter. He just wasn't in his prime anymore. Just like the version of Cotto that Canelo fought. Are you that much of an idiot when it comes to boxing that you don't know that fighters can still be good but on the decline? For example, did Floyd face the best version of Oscar? Did Bradley face the best version of Marquez? The answer is no, but were they still good fighters even though they were past their best? Yes. How do you not know that and still call yourself a boxing fan? Probably because all you know is Canelo and nothing else.

I don't have a favorite active fighter like a groupie. I have fighters that I respect more but I'd criticize any fighter when necessary. Canelo fans are handcuffed because they defend everything about him. And that's where the hypocrisy comes in. Sorry but there's no way to fully defedna fighter who has dropped a belt twice with 2 big fights waiting for him in mandatories, no way to defend positive ped tests, or bad scorecards without sounding hypocritical.
