Ward was too big and risky to begin with. Just admit GGG would never have beat him to begin with. If GGG were 31 and Ward was 42, and it were at 175..maybe GGG could have a chance. That's how good Ward was..

''Ward too much for me, not today.'' - Gennadiy (Esnews, Macklin camp)

Until they fight nobody knows for sure. I do concede though that Ward's mugging, grabbing style does not favor GGG, who prefers to box at range. GGG would have to get inside on Ward, and work without getting grabbed and tied up. Easier said than done. But to say GGG would NEVER have beat Ward is simply absurd. GGG is an extremely talented fighter who can hold his own with anyone.

and of course, no surprise that you are taking the "too much" quote completely out of context. If you watch the video, his facial expressions make it quite obvious he is referring to all the drama and nonsense coming from Ward, and is simply being dismissive of him. English is his 3rd or 4th language, so who cares if he doesnt use the proper vernacular. But facial expressions are universal......

And what does Canelo’s fights have to do with GGG. Haven’t you learned that Canelo is not bound to fight GGG in his contract and vise versa.

Why don’t you TRY and name some options for GGG. We got rolls at 164 for starters. Stop riding the Canelo wave and focus on GGG. Or you only want Canelo which was my initial point? Is Canelo GgG’s Nemesis? If they weren’t fair fights why do GGG fans insist in another one?

I get a feeling GGG fans fear GGG loses to someone else?
      You are joking right???

You can’t refute testimony. Again, Ward was literally too much for him. GGG was literally being honest about illustration, not lost in translation.

No industry writer complained about a robbery in the rematch. Writers mainly complained about Byrd. One judge doesn’t make the fight anyways, technically.

Nothing lost in translation there. GGG was too much for Ward.
Industry hated Floyd. Writers didn’t instigate that. Some people actually understood they were friends...lol

Now, Bhop calling out Floyd, that was a real thing if I recall, during the epic times GBP fighters tried to beat Floyd and failed. Wasn’t it after Mosley?

They were. Floyd on various Fight Hype interviews he always praised Ward behind him, and Ward explained his call out was jokes.

The offer Ward sent to GGG was a joke too. Andre has a great sense of humour.

idiots and clowns alike still bringing up ward saying "id do 160 for floyd"....like it means anything....

floyd said several times "160 is too far ...everyone has their limits....i wont fight there"

making anything ward said about a fight with floyd at 160 null and VOID...but that doesnt go through thick, lil g defending, skulls very easily.....

now golovkin? he on the otherhand tried to fight froch and chavez at 168 and even signed his name to paper for chavez right? and didnt he say "anyone from 154-168"? i think he did

did floyd every say "anyone from 147-160"? NOPE

that defense is ****** AF ....but it doesnt suprise me its still being used

it still took golovkin 2 years to get the canelo fight that he dodged ward for.......he would have done as fine against ward financially as he did against brook....but they didn't want to risk fighting a guy as tough to beat as ward......and they were smart in that sense because ward would have whooped him and they knew it......the minute ward was available to fight they tucked tail......and it still took them 2 years to get the fight....ward suggested they each take a tuneup after lil g fought lemiueux

                      yep

Golovkin's idiot fcukboys are just churning out the excuses

FACT:when Ward came calling, Golovkin RAN

and what do we see with the benefit of hinsdight..... ?

                      1) Golovkin would not lift his finger to make a meaningful fight with anyone else either

                      2) he avoided fighters like Derevy, Charlo, Andrade..... but the fcukboys flatly insist that he would have got in there with Ward?..... yea right
