oh yeah, everyone was ducking Robert Helenius until Whyte had the balls to go life and death with him for that Vacant Silver title.

And thank god that Whyte had the fortitude to fight 40 year old out of shape Lucas Browne. He's really crushing it, fighting all the high risk fights.

      Disgraceful.

Dillian was embarrassed so badly in that fight, he took his anger out on the poor old referee.

Thank goodness those sloppy haymakers sailed over Howard John Foster's head and failed to damage anything except for Dillian's pride.

Joshua banked on a quick KO and when it did't come he tried to force it. AJ learned a valuable lesson, be who you are and if the KO comes, it comes. IMO, AJ frustrates Ruiz from long distance and this time Ruiz starts opening up to create something and HE gets caught forcing it.

Call yourself Wilder and talk about embarrassment??? Wilder is a walking embarrassment, 100%.

"allowed Ruiz"??? "... will get the best AJ"???

You are delusional. AJ doesn't and didn't "ALLOW" Ruiz to do anything ... before, after, or during the fight. The wonderful thing about boxing is that all PRIVILEGE goes out the window in the ring. AJ is just a fighter like everyone else ... not the 2nd coming of Ali.

Per getting the best AJ, he beat the BEST AJ. The only difference will be the surprise/respect factors. AJ will not be surprised this time ... he knows if he messes up Ruiz will beat his a$$ down. And AJ will go into the fight with a lot more healthy respect for his opponent (something that was lacking BIGTIME in all of team hearn/aj/girlyfans).

AJ is a great fighter, he had chances to win the 1st time and will have chances in the rematch too. But it is far from a given. He has more chances to lose than win. Ruiz didn't reveal everything in that fight, he didn't need to. And AJ still may not realize: this fight could be a war for all 12 rounds!

Fighting tall is a good idea for AJ, but it doesn't guarantee anything. Ruiz has always been shorter, and has fought many that fought tall. Ruiz is a ****er with lots of skill. He will find a way to **** unless you run (Parker).

AJ is gonna have to be ready to fight a war and win. He may get a good combo in, hurt and eventually stop Ruiz. But if anyone is counting on that, chances are good you will be dissapointed. If AJ banks on that he will probably lose again.

If AJ isn't prepared to have a serious fight, **** and get ******, fight through and win ... he's gonna lose. Goes for anyone else fighting Ruiz too, unless they can drop a bomb and hurt him big.

Joshua was boxing Ruiz at this point. Ruiz just has fast hands and was able to catch Joshua with combinations. I don't think Joshua has a chin issue. I think his is more psychological. When he starts taking some shots, its like he shuts down, gets scared or something. For all of his obvious physical advantages, toughness and grit are lacking.
Agreed. Sometimes a fight isn't won with a fierce exchange or two or ten. Sometimes it's gonna be a war no matter what you do. Heart, toughness, mental toughness, will, mean-spirit dog ... sometimes you better have that, or ...

Ruiz stops Whyte ... not sure who wins the riot after though.

Whyte is fast becoming tediously boring and irrelevant.

Clinch Ruiz like how Holyfield clinched Tyson, using his weightlifting strength and body weight to drain Mikes aerobic based training and to stop his leaping style of attack. Wlad was extremely successful with that style, which I consider boring to the max. But it worked. And it saves gas.

Joshua can't afford to look good style-wise in this particular fight, Forget what the chicks think(!) lol... he's just gotta win. And its what every successful boxer has had to give the public: a boring fight every now & then to get the win. Josh also has to make it his duty to "fight tall," an Emmanual Steward trademark. Joshua 'crouched in' like he wanted to accommodate Ruizs shorter fattish frame and thats when Ruiz combinations looked and flowed like butter.

Ruiz can't keep reaching successfully for Joshuas head if he has to lift his heavy frame off the ground to get to it, Joshua needs to make him "work" for every successful connection. I'd like to think Joshua can win, but as you said, take off some of that muscle, and heck man, he needs to use that advantageous RANGE!
Ruiz is 6-2 with a 74 inch reach. Joshua is 6-6 with a 82 inch reach. Use the range like you said, make it a boring fight. Can’t afford to lose.
