All you Canelo fans complaining that GGG can fight scrubs for 10 million or so and think Canelo is gonna a get 30 million plus to fight scrubs too?

    Doubt that.

Canelo isnt gonna bag 30million plus to fight guys with no name recognition. You guys continue to forget that Canelos biggest payday is STILL GGG. Quit lying to yourselves. Anyone else will pull in nothing remotely close to what that fight has to offer and Canelo isnt even considering it which is HILARIOUS.

#1, Canelo DOES NOT NEED GGG, at all, he can go on pulling down $30 million dollars and change a fight, GGG's biggest bargaining chip was PPV revenue, that's gone now.

#2, GGG has changed, he is saying things, and acting in such a way, that it's turning people off, but his biggest mistake was calling Canelo a cheater non stop, that was unneeded, he could have fell back, expressed some disappointment, etc, but he went beyond that, he took it to another level, on top of that, he walked out of the ring as opposed to be accountable to Canelo and the fans, that implies he has weak character, another thing Canelo must be fuming about. GGG talked about belts, all he cares about is belts, but when he had a chance to earn one before a 3rd canelo fight, he fought a bum, he tried to skate to a 3rd fight, that certainly must have upset Canelo who has won 2 belts since the second fight. GGG also behaves like he is the A side, like he can determine the venue, and other specifics, he still isn't giving Canelo his respect. Canelo meanwhile KNOWS he is GGG's meal ticket, and is going to refuse to let him eat out of spite.

#3, It's not Canelos fault that DAZN gave him that ludicrous contract, they offered it to him, he signed it, and he is getting every bit of that money, if they can't understand that GGG talked himself out of a 3rd fight, fine, Canelo can get a big fat buyout, and sign with another network for similar money. Canelo is the golden goose, he will lay eggs wherever he goes, PBC, ESPN, they will pay top dollar for Canelo. There was a fantastic article on the feed today confirming what I have been saying for weeks. Canelo has them over a barrel right now, GGG meanwhile is 37, does not want to fight anyone that is halfway dangerous, and refuses to move up in weight despite claiming for years he would do so. GGG is a financial liability to DAZN without Canelo, and GB knows it. It would make sense to buyout GGG, he is way less valuable than Canelo.

      4. AJ got KTFO, Canelo is the undisputed king of the network, and also a superior fighter to AJ, a far greater commodity in America, they can't lose him

      ,
GGG doesn't need Canelo for money either. He has his own 6 fight 100million dollar deal with DAZN and gets the same 16 million a fight if he fights Canelo or someone else. He thought he beat Canelo twice and got robbed twice so he wants to fight him again in someplace besides Vegas to get the win he thinks he already should have had twice. Money has nothing to do with it. He gets his same 100 million for 6 fights with or without Canelo. Canelo not fighting him because GGG didn't kiss up to him and said bad things is a childish diva way to act. If Canelo is pissed off then do what he should do and take his anger out on him in the ring if he thinks he can beat him. GGG is the number 1 contender by everybody and he only lost the 2nd fight by the smallest possible amount. Canelo said GGG must first beat Andrade but who the hell is he to give GGG orders on who to fight. If GGG had defeated Andrade instead of Rolls it would have made no difference and Canelo would still have refused to fight him. Canelo is making no attempt to fight Andrade. He just wanted GGG to do his job as middleweight champ for him. You saying Canelo is GGG's meal ticket is ****** and wrong. GGG gets his 100 million with or without Canelo and GGG is already ****** rich. You saying GGG refuses to fight anybody dangerous or move up in weight is also ****** and wrong. Two years ago when Froch was not retired and a 168 pound world champion GGG ofered him good money to fight him in England and Froch said no. You don't know who GGG fights next so how the helldo who you know if his next opponent will be dangerous or not? You just make assumptions based on your obvious dislike of him. GGG only fought Rolls because he thought he would be fighting Canelo in 3 months and did not want a tough fight so close to another close fight. Any other boxer would do the same. Canelo is boxing's biggest star now but that ends if he losses a fight and so does his 365 million deal with DAZN. It's clear to me why Canelo refuses to fight GGG in Los Angeles or New York. He is worried about losing that fight in a neutral location. Canelo clearly beat Jacobs but he gassed out badly in the 2nd half of the fight. He has knee problems and stamina problems. If he fights top opposition I think he will lose a fight very soon and maybe this September.

So sure, DAZN has some say in what Canelo does, but ultimately he makes his own decisions.
So why isn't the phony hypocrite making any attempt to fight Andrade after stating his goal was to unify and saying GGG must fight Andrade get a fight with him?????? He doesn't give a damn about having all the belts and being the fully unified middleweight champion. He was never going to fight GGG if GGG defeated Andrade.

If they want him to fight GGG and no one else they probably want to see what those numbers look like with a good B-side opponent. I'm sure they were ready to concede some losses, but this investment still has to make some kind of sense financially if he's getting 30 million per fight.

I believe his camp has reached out to Hearn regarding the Andrade fight. But the point is, whoever Canelo chooses to fight, DAZN isn't going to say no. They want the GGG trilogy of course, but ultimately will go with whatever Canelo wants.

So exactly who is going to pay that kind of money for Canelo's services? Nobody would be my guess.

DAZN doesn't have leverage here lol. DAZN needs Canelo, Canelo doesn't need DAZN.

                1. He can go anywhere if they decide to get rid of him

2.They can't keep him and shelf him because they lose money

In order to keep Canelo along with all of the subscribers he brings, they need him fighting on their platform. It doesn't matter who he fights, he is the biggest star in boxing so the ratings will be there. Also, it's not like he's choosing to fight guys who aren't better then GGG or lack star power. Smith, Kovalev, and Andrade are probably all better then GGG. All of those fights would be must-watch TV. Munguia isn't better or truly competitive for Canelo but he has star power and it would be a mexican showdown which will make for big ratings regardless.

He is the shot caller, whatever he says goes. He never turned down the GGG fight, he said GGG needs to go fight a top guy and grab a belt before he fights him. DAZN needs to go make GGG fight Andrade and if he loses, work his way back into a Canelo fight. He's got multiple fights in his contract to do so if necessary.

Good for Canelo. If no GGG then Andrade is who he should fight. I like that fight. Andrade is terrible to watch but he beat a good contender by shutout so give him his chance. I think Canelo easily beats him but let's see how good Andrade is.

I have hard time seeing ANYONE having an easy time against Andrade. He could beat any of the top MWs. While the style leaves a lot to be desired at times, it is very effective and his athleticism troubles anyone. Would like to see him throw more shots like he did at 154 though.

So while DAZN may be upset they can't get the GGG trilogy made, they understand how much Canelo means to their company. They will get over it.
