He felt obliged to rematch him after that controversial draw. It then became a more needed rematch for redemption after the tarnishing clen scandal.

Had he gotten the nod from the 1st fight there wouldn’t have been rematch

He went back down and fought a champ. All options were equal at the time and were going to be shutouts outside of Lara. The problem was not fighting GGG which he has since done twice and Danny in addition to a bogus but fair jump to 68 for a “title”. Not sure what’s to hate.

Given the fact that Munguia LOST to Dennis Hogan IMO and many other people opinion...this is a BAD FIGHT if they do it right now. However it is a HUGE Fight if Lets Say Munguia was to move up, fight Andrade for that WBO Belt and if he beats Andrade (which I don't see happening) then yeah that becomes a huge fight

I like Canelo but honestly, it is A LOT of people who are JUST Canelo fans and the rest of the sport don't matter to them. I'm a BOXING FAN and I can't say i'm really happy with the current state of boxing. I feels like this sport is falling so far behind other sports even MMA/UFC now. So in order to keep this sport alive, we need BIGGER Matches more consistently and if DAZN is willing to put big money up to make the best fights then they should 100% Be supported by fans and more importantly FIGHTERS should have NO EXCUSES

But Yeah I would rather see Canelo vs GGG III rather than Canelo vs Munguia. Seems like GBP is trying to do a In House Fight I Guess

There’s nothing to hate. He has a great resume. I just think it’s silly to bash GGG’s resume, especially since it’s so similar to Canelo’s recently, so I’m showing recent examples were Canelo wasn’t fighting great fighters.

Canelo will ruin him like Golovkin would've. You can't be that open defensively Vs Alvarez and not get tagged badly every round. Hogan rematch wouldn't excite people but best for his development

And not everything Golovkin does has to be followed by but Canelo did this. It will probably sell which is the bottom line for DAZN no matter which guy fights him.

It will sell because its Canelo. Dont think Munguia really brings anything with everyone knowing it being a rematch. DAZN really wants the trilogy

I agree they really want the trilogy but Canelo appears to be hesitant.
