No one cares for your opinion, Keith Idec. Just do your job and provide boxing news. Leave the narrative you're trying to push out of it.
Man I agree with your premise, but thats just media today. Nobody tells you the news anymore, they tell you their opinion of the news. Turn on any of the 24 hour news channels, its just squawking pundits spinning things how they want.

The sad part is, is thats what most people want anyways. They want to be told how to think about things and be 'entertained' by annoying arguments and agree with opinions that are being screamed at them.

If you can’t get that payday fight go fight one of the top MW and earn it. Can’t understand why GGG fans don’t demand this of him. Same goes for fans of all of the above except Jacobs cuz he just fought the the best middleweight in the world.
Right and Gina is going after Munguia & gggina's fans are ok with his cherrypicks

Does anyone else think this is some convoluted scheme by Warren to get Yarde to fight for a vacant WBO title?

Everyone wins. Kovalev has to vacate for not fulfilling mandatory but gets a massive payday to lose a decision. Canelo gets a ‘win’ against a legit LHW champ. Yarde fights for vacant WBO belt vs Boesel when Ramirez is unavailable.

Jacobs and Kovalev worth the same? I don't get it.

Jacobs has been making many times more than Kovalev, and now they're suddenly worth the same?

What did Kovalev make for the two Ward fights? Wasn’t the first one on PPV?

Hard to say without hearing the number.

Fielding got somewhere north of 1.2 million dollars. Jacobs has been making way more than Kovalev through his career, which is no surprise considering Kovalev is with Main Events.

I'm thinking the offer was fair, but Main Events is trying to squeeze a little more out, knowing that there's all this chatter that Canelo would rather not fight Golovkin... and if he isn't, he needs someone with name value to fight instead. Options are limited.

It's a boxing media problem but Keith Idec is one of the worst bias and no credibility. He just pushes an narrative to follow his agenda. None of the other major sports reporters has media who are flat out compromised like boxing does. They are each linked to a specific Promoter, Network, etc. So they just report and spin for whatever entity they are clinging to to keep a job. Keith Idec has had a hair across his azzz for Golden Boy for a long time and you can't keep it from seeping in everything he writes. Not to mention he is literally on CBS's payroll. CBS is his employer and CBS owns Showtime. CBS is financially invested in PBC. So all his reporting is heavily slanted to sugar coat PBC and take shots at those not aligned with PBC. When you can easily see through all these different writers agendas it takes away any credibility they have.

My guess is, they made that one dude at 168 fight with a rehydration limit can't see them not asking for a cw or something.

Canelo should just fight him at the full weight cuz he beats him regardless. Kov gets stopped from body shots. We all know Kov is soft to the body & Canelo being an excellent body puncher & way faster than kovalev would be the key. Idk how GGG took all those hard body shots without slowing down in the rematch

My guess: Canelo really wants the Kovalev fight, he really believes his own, I don't want to say hype, but he really believes he's as good as advertised, meanwhile his team, including his matchmakers, that's what matchmakers do, they know a lot better, and are a lot more honest about, where opponents like GGG actually were in their careers when Canelo beat him, so I don't think his matchmakers and his team believe in him as much as he believes in himself.

But they can't tell him that. So it sounds like Canelo really wants to fight Kovalev, but his team doesn't, but they're afraid to tell him they don't believe in him, so they're trying to lowball Kovalev without Canelo hearing about it so they can tell him "we offered the fight to Kovalev, he's the one who said no."

                      Just my guess.
