so, of course there was a rematch
that was Golovkin's first mistake..... never rematch a thinking fighter, especially if that fighter is more-skilled and more well-rounded than you are..... Lumpkin will get beaten again when the trilogy eventually happens
I am not interested in Golovkin right now for two reasons.....
because there are better fights available, and because Golovkin does not deserve the payday..... he will not fight guys like Charlo or Andrade, and even avoided mid-level guys like Derevyanchenko
let's face it..... apart from Canelo, Golovkin is irrelevant at middleweight
if you aint gonna shlt, then get off the pot
Lol “better fights”...canelo vs ggg is still one of the biggest fights in boxing. You don’t want him to get the pay day, simple as that...deserve has nothing to do with it. You know you’re a fanoldman/hater when you’re arguing against the 2 best guys in a division facing each other...nobody gives a damn about what you’re “interested in”.

I want to see them both fight other guys

Who has Charlo beaten that’s he gets a pass?
he fought no-hopers

nah, that fight was not a robbery
even Sanchez admitted that lil'G did not win the rematch
Sanchez told Golovkin that he was losing, he told Golovkin to fight Canelo..... but Golovkin ran

now lil'G is back to picking on small fries like Munguia again

First of all Canelo never faced any real champ above 160 and he was fighting at 160 for an eternity, the 155lb Canelo weight is still middleweight. He fought an absolute joke of a paperchamp at 168 and drained the poor guy, put a rehydration clause in the contract.
Now they ask old Kovalev who already struggles to make weight, who got knocked out recently to drain and weaken himself and make a low ball offer as well?
Canelo really has excellent matchmaking, right? Only faces elite fighters who are way past prime, all of them over 35 years old, when Canelo himself wants to be long retired, because fighters at that age arent the same anymore, deteriorate and slow down too much. These are Canelos own words.
Give me a call when Canelo faces a legit prime champion not older than 34 without any rehydration clauses and catchweight trash.
GGG has too much class to try to weaken his opponents, he wants a fair fight, but you're incapable to grasp that.
Well you're a Floyd fan too, so that fits perfectly. You dont care how they win, you only care that they win.
Back to your question: Why do you care so much? You dislike GGG anyway. He is 37 years old, you expect him to suddenly move up a couple weight classes? If a big fight might happen he might still move up, who knows?
GGG fought at 140 in the amateurs, he was world champion at Light Welter, Welterweight, Superwelter and Middleweight, he turned pro extremely late because Kazakhstan basically has no pro boxing.
GGG at age 18 was fighting at a lower weight than Canelo at age 18. You just lack boxing knowledge.Last edited by Jubei; 07-02-2019, 11:05 PM.

Roy Jones also said...”ggg probably outboxed canelo in the rematch, but he called for Mexican style”. Whatever that means lol.
I didn’t realize the mungia fight was signed, or the talk of that fight was even from ggg’s camp. Dazn is looking for a poor man’s canelo in the case that canelo turns down the fight and the date is still available...a lot of ifs there. They won’t need a replacement Mexican if canelo takes the fight.
