munguia needs to build him self up and needs to learn defense... as of now he wont beat anyone at the top 5 at MW...
for the 2 elites(canelo, ggg) at the weight it should be considered no less than a mismatch or a tune up(soft touch)...
now if ggg fights canelo, andrade , charlo or jacobs next and then fights munguia as a tune up in december then that will be a different story, but not after fighting rolls... it would have been a joke also if canelo fought munguia after fielding...
So a mismatch is no longer a mismatch if GGG fights first someone you'd like him to fight. WTF reasoning is that.

Munguia is a champion at 154. Champions tend to get shots at the champions when they move up. Even if GGG is not a champion anymore.

We know that hetook till the age of 34 to fight a MW champ, so presumably if he was a LHW he would take the same timeframe.

it will still be a mismatch, just like rolls was, just like fielding was, but is understanble canelo or ggg getting a mismatch 3 months after taking on a though opponent... those will be the circunstances where i see the fight taking place or else it should be viewed as a joke, at least for now...

GGG doesn't need to fight at 175, or 168. He fights at a weight he is at his best. He has already earned more than Hopkins career earnings and he has plenty of options at 160. I still don't understand the criticism of bashing a fighter for remaining at his ideal weight. No one ever criticized Hagler or Monzon this way. Look at Charlo, was draining himself to make 154 and now 160 and never fought anyone at either of these weights, his frame can easily fight at 168/175, AND he misses drugs tests. Suspect as hell.

Jacobs got that payday because he earned it
Canelo will fight anyone...just not ggg right now apparently. If you didn’t hate ggg so much, you’d be saying canelo is avoiding the fight...same as what you said about fury with the wilder rematch. Difference is the canelo vs ggg was closer and arum isn’t in the mix getting in the way...not to mention ggg gave canelo another opportunity at the belts after the first controversial draw. I get it, you don’t like ggg/his fans etc, but don’t be one of those guys who is arguing against the 2 best guys in the division fighting just cuz you want something to be taken from golovkin lol.

Golovkin vs Andre Ward would've been a great matchup (at sMW)

Who's going to be heavier on fight night? Mungia or GGG?

You know the answer, so stfu.

                  who cares about weight ?

Munguia is a green kid, and clearly not ready to step up

Hypekin knows that..... and so do you

Golovkin is being criticized for selecting JMW no-hopers..... rather than selecting guys who fight at " his ideal weight "

also, Golovkin talked about fighting the following SMW's at 168..... Chavez, Froch, Jack, Hopkins, Chudinov, Ramirez..... he just never did it.....

Golovkin fought Canelo, and he did not win LMAO

so, of course there was a rematch

that was Golovkin's first mistake..... never rematch a thinking fighter, especially if that fighter is more-skilled and more well-rounded than you are..... Lumpkin will get beaten again when the trilogy eventually happens

I am not interested in Golovkin right now for two reasons.....

because there are better fights available, and because Golovkin does not deserve the payday..... he will not fight guys like Charlo or Andrade, and even avoided mid-level guys like Derevyanchenko

let's face it..... apart from Canelo, Golovkin is irrelevant at middleweight

if you aint gonna shlt, then get off the pot
