You were wrong. There was no catchweight. There is however a morning weight in but he just has to be no more than 10. He can gain more after the weigh in. Also, if they are doing a morning weigh in then that is less than the 24 hours you are talking about, so again, he can put on more weight

The first 24 hours are the most important for a proper rehydration. Anything after, you reduce the ability to fully rehydrate to your best ability.
