Last month, Katie Taylor’s manager, Brian Peters, during a press conference in Meath, was asked if the popular 31-year-old Olympic champion could look forward to a home town fight.

Clearly indicating that that would not happen, Peters said: “We’ve had talks with the powers that be and they’ve advised us the climate is not conducive to having a fight night [in Dublin].”

He would say no more, though he was questioned on whether it was off the agenda because of concerns about security at boxing events because of Daniel Kinahan’s known interest in boxing.

“I’m not sure,” he replied. “If you want to run a show, there are sanctioning bodies, the gardaí . . . there are a whole load of boxes you have to tick to put on a show.”

Idk why he's putting so many UK people on US cards too. That seems like a lazy move.

And this is the same mfer who I believe has said that a guy like Khan f#cked up his UK drawing ability by fighting in the states...& now he's got Callum Smith in the US & I think Katie f#cking Taylor just moved to the US or something cuz she's not fought in the UK for almost a year now.

But to the point idk that these UK people are helping you out in the US. And its not like Sky wouldn't dig having a decent show from time to time again.
It's simple he couldn't secure the US fighters he promised DAZN he would sign. So he is forced to use all his UK and overseas fighters to fill out his US Matchroom cards. So instead of these guys fighting in the UK building their fanbase where they belong he's putting these fighters nobody cares about in the states in massive mismatches and then wondering why it don't move the needle?

It's one thing if you bringing these guys over for major fights or because they fighting top Americans. You bringing UK fighters to fight bums in showcase fights when Americans don't even care about these fighters lol

This obviously wasn't the plan but since he couldn't sign top fighters on this side of the pond and doesn't have enough Americans he has no choice but to fill his cards and undercards worth Brits in trash fights. Which hurts those fighters from building their name with fans who actually care about them, hurts Sky and doesn't do shyt for DAZN. Of not for Golden Boy DAZN would be all the way phuked. They driving subscribers, they putting on competitive fights and actually know how to promote fights in US regions. Very interesting when that opt out clause comes up for DAZN. what point is it to keep Hearn around when he can't get fighters Americans care about and has no clue how to promote in US markets and you already have Golden Boy now. Just give Golden Boy that budget they already doing the heavy lifting or just bring in other US promoters. Last night was yet another dreadful Matchroom card that didn't have a single competitive fight in over 4Hrs of live boxing you would think by accident one of these mismatches would of been a decent fight.

You British guys may worship the ground he walks on and post “get the kettle on”, “send the wife away” every time Itv has a hearn interview but the yanks could care less. Dazn would have already failed if it were not for Canelo and Mexican American fans. Your nationalist love for Hearn doesn’t mean jack to mexican Americans. And I for one think Hearn is a total and complete clown shoes and dazn SHOULD axe the fool after his contract is up in 2020....hearn for with dazn because he conned them into thinking he could sign all the PBC fighters. Hearn is the most clueless limey to ever come to the USA....he clearly had no understanding of black America loyalty to Al Haymon and PBC nor did he understand mexican American loyalty to dlh.

He has already bumped heads with every rival promoter and network. Hell you can't find a single person to say anything nice about this loud mouth and now even promoters also with DAZN are trashing him and sounding exactly like everyone else telling him to shut up about fighters not signed with him and other promoters business. When even Bob Arum tells the world DAZN should take away Hearn and just let Golden Boy promote these US cards that tells you just how bad Hearn is in the US. Arum hates Oscar and even said they at least know what they are doing Hearn is cluess about the US. The only reason anyone in the US has DAZN is because of Golden Boy and the WBSS that's just real talk Hearn UK fighters in trash fights don't move the needle for anyone here.

So looks like I was right. Hearn said DLH is probably upset at his comments on the Mannix podcast and then said something like he (DLH) is under pressure since we all know what DAZN wants and the GGG fight was agreed.

So yeah, has nothing to do with Andrade. And they also probably lied to GGG to get him to sign with DAZN by telling him he would get the Canelo fight in September.

                Best well thought out comments.

To be honest, DAZN was dying until Golden Boy stepped in and saved it. DAZN gave Eddie Hearn 1 billion dollars and Hearn could not do anything with it.

One example is myself. I didn't have DAZN but I wanted to watch a Canelo fight. I paid the one time price for the year and just kept it that way.

Eddie probably didn't understand what a racist country America has become. Their is no nationalistic love for Hearn among British fans, that's just you viewing the world through your own racist goggles.

I cant believe you don't know the answer to that.

Canelo beat ggg to get the WBC middleweight belt. That same WBC belt was elevated to a Franchise Belt which is no different than other organizations "Word Title". Its just a way for greedy organizations to make more money.

Plus Charlo was never going to get Canelo. Thank you Al Haymon

Unfortunately Andrade is the most boring champ since Mayweather but without a built-in group of people who want to see him get knocked out.
