Comments Thread For: Oscar De La Hoya, Eddie Hearn Trade Words Over Canelo Alvarez

Was only a matter of time until DLH/GBP were going to go after Hearn. As much of a supposed "partnership" this is, obviously GBP would like to get the budget Hearn has. And looks like DLH has had enough with Hearn making comments of who Canelo should fight next and what DAZN wants next.

May not be anything right now, but let's see how these two get along in the next year or so.

Canelo is the only thing keeping boxing on DAZN afloat at this point.

    Hearn has Andy Ruiz problems.

I agree, Hearn needs to mind his own business and stay in his lane. All the lanes in Oscar's life end up in his ass. Not really a good place to be.

Figured it was a matter of time before these two butted heads.

I like both the Golden Boy and Hearn so hope they dont start beefing.

Hearn just comes off as a major dyck and rubs promoters wrong because he is constantly speaking on fighters he doesn't have under contract. Now he's rubbing promoters wrong who are also on DAZN.

He should just keep his mouth shut on Canelo because he doesn't have him under contract or control who he fights. If not for Golden boy DAZN would be in major trouble because Hearn ain't deliverying. Canelo and Golden boy keeping DAZN lights on. Golden Boy cards and WBSS are consistently better then Matchroom cards.

Best for Hearn to never forget why DAZN still afloat and that’s Canelo. Haymon, Schaffer, Floyd and many more have tried to build a wedge between Oscar n Canelo but the Ginger has always stayed loyal to Oscar. Hearn needs to realize his best asset Joshua is no longer HW champ or undefeated, dude best bargaining chip is gone.

                Did not expect this.
Most likely Hearn doesn’t like that Canelo isn’t interested in a third GGG fight.
He may have made promises to GGG that it would happen if he signed with DAZN.
Hearn may have written some checks he couldn’t cash using the Cash Cow’s name and De La Hoya wasn’t having it.

DAZN needs De La Hoya (Canelo) more than they need Hearn. Hearn should tread carefully. He’s too used to having everything his own way due to his exclusive Sky deal over here.

Both these guys should stop nitpicking with each other and focus on working together, DAZN is gonna need both these guys to perform better if they want to compete with PBC and Arum.
