If DAZN knew anything about boxing this is what they WOULD do

I think DAZN needs Canelo Ggg fight now for financial reasons and don’t want to risk one losing. If people on this sight we’re tru boxing fans they would want the third fight now but they are tied up in the politics and hate.Canelo needs to win in big fashion with no controversy. These same people put down GGG as a protected over rated bum but then can’t explain why there atg Nellie can’t beat this bum without controversy. He lost the first fight end of story.I would like to see Canelo put up the ultimate performance to shut every one up and GGG go into the fight like a 38 year old champ who feels this is it for him.We definitely will see fireworks then. The second PPV sold less than the first PPV. That shows interest in the fight waned and the interest in the 3rd will be even less than the second and advertised on a smaller platform which doesn't have the reach of HBO. The fight will do more than Jacobs/Canelo for sure but this ain't May/Pac numbers, which they need to do at least half of that but won't.You’re missing the point. If Canelo or GGG lose then the 3rd fight becomes far less valuable. That fight is a major draw for DAZN, they need a fight like that in order to recoup some of the huge investment they’ve made in Canelo and GGG. Say Canelo or GGG loses to a guy like Andrade or Smith who isn’t a draw, that would be a major hit to the stock of Canelo or GGG who DAZN have invested so highly in. How will they recoup that investment if their prize assets lose?
I like your idea of retaining subscribers. But your strategy seems way too risky IMO. I think I good idea would be to tie people in. For instance you have to subscribe for a minimum of 3-6 months at a time. I think the WWE network originally tied people in for 6 months, so people just couldn’t sign up for a month to watch the big events like Wrestlemania then unsubscribe. Then when they achieved their goal of 1m subscribers they reduced it to a month by month basis. This proved very successful for them.
Canelo/Kovalev will do great numbers. Canelo/Smith will do good numbers. Instead of people cancelling after September you can retain some of those subs for October and pick up some new ones with GGG vs. a good opponent. Then you'd have the Joshua vs. This II the following money so you're holding onto subscribers again and gaining subscribers. And hopefully they throw some WBSS fights in there each month.
You also have earned media three months straight.
If the goal is to gain and retain subscribers What's the point of blowing your wad in September with nothing to offer to retain subs for the next month or the foreseeable future after November?Comment

Boxing has really hit it's weirdest time with the fans arguing over and aligning themselves with the channels the fights are shown on.Comment

You might get a job offer from dazn .It sounds good if everyone wins.I guess I didn’t realize the second fight didn’t do as well makes sense when you factor everything in .The second PPV sold less than the first PPV. That shows interest in the fight waned and the interest in the 3rd will be even less than the second and advertised on a smaller platform which doesn't have the reach of HBO. The second fight did around million buys at like $85 a piece...The second PPV sold less than the first PPV. That shows interest in the fight waned and the interest in the 3rd will be even less than the second and advertised on a smaller platform which doesn't have the reach of HBO. They need to build an audience now, Canelo-GGG 3 will do that more than any other match up. What’s the point in marinating the 3rd fight if you’re only retaining a couple of 100 thousand subscribers?Comment

They should stack the Canelo undercards with Ryan Garcia, Jaime Munguia, Diego De La Hoya that would be a startComment
