The 2000s? Hellll no. Nobody wants to see Wladimir's jab n' grab style, hugging Eurobums to death because he has no inside fighting skills.

The heavyweight division is on FIRE today. We got the 1st ever Mexican Heavyweight Champion. We got the most devastating knockout artist in the history of boxing, The Bronze Bomber. We're a few fights away from getting the first Undisputed Champion since Lennox Lewis. And we got another young killer in Efe Ajagba with SCARY punches and huge potential at only 10 fights.

And if you were a fan of David Haye, throw your support behind Oleksandr Usyk, the Undisputed Cruiserweight phenom following in the footsteps of Holyfield and Haye in his quest to move up and dethrone the heavyweight kings.

Canelo is doing big things, but the real man to watch is David Benavidez at 168 this guy is a BEAST at only 22 years old. His blazing combinations and hand-speed are unbelievable.

And let's not forget Lomachenko, P4P king, mastermind with movement straight outta The Matrix, making world champions look like amateurs and bums.

Boxing is like a love affair. You get mad at it and bitch about it, but you are too addicted to stay away.

I agree with you that the politics of it is garbage.

Maybe take a little break after tonight!

If Wilder keeps winning, he may not ever come back.

Or he'd just create another blackface character to mock.

Boxing is a frustrating sport. I agree with that. I don't remember when it wasn't. There was always some needless drama. And yeah, there was better total quality in the past.

Watching some classic fights then seeing the ppl lose their **** over GGG ALVAREZ 2 which was really just "ok"

This sport isn't what it was and it never will be, I don't think.

Most "fans" nowadays are hayonites who don't care about anything other than blacks protecting their "0" (thanks floyd)

I might go watch UFC, at least the best fight the best there and there's no ducking.

Who knows maybe I'll be cheering the next Lobev on when he smashes the next malinaggi

Jhonny is getting tired too. Too many baiting threads.. I’m afraid to post threads that might trigger emotionally overly sensitive basement dwelling millennials..

GOAT is an over used acronym all these kids looking for fake book friends, who can’t walk outside without a smart phone guys ask me to produce more photos, selfies.. etc.. in my opinion, if you gotta rake selfies to show strangers, fake book buddies...never mind.. I’ve proved enough ..... shalom.

                    Well said!

Boxing is pretty much "0"s and "egos" these days. UFC has some insanely competative fights and they are FIGHTS, so that would be a good step for you.

Also, BKF is excellent, with some pro boxers now switching over simply because nobody is protected, ducked or self important. Tyler Goodjohn was a decent boxer who has jumped to BKF. Check out this fight on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSRDk8Hz6yY&t=1179s - and see what you think.

Boxing is still important to me, but the wake up came with Floyd v Connor, when the best boxing has possibly ever produced took 10 rounds to beat a five round fighter in his debut fight.

Lots of us woke up that night.
