Boxing is not as exciting as the 90's, and even the 2000's 'I think the entire middle weight division is really poor' The best divisions for me are the Middle Weight Divisions and Heavyweights. So once these two divisions are not doing well in terms of qaulity, boxing just seems poor. 'I am more of a fan of the individual, and the last fighter I had a strong rapport was with David Haye' so most fights I am neutral.

But you are ether a fan of boxing or not, you should not just switch off in low times. 'If you do? Seems like you was watching it or involving yourself for other reasons. I sense that you are monkey branching, I see this in some people. Just monkey branch to whatever seems more social dominant and successful.

So yes you can have a little monkey branch to the UFC.

I'm losing interest in it because it's not that exciting these days.
If I go back l0 years three was loads of fighters I enjoyed watching.

Yes I'm British but truth be told 10 years ago when I enjoyed boxing more we had way less champions.

I loved watching guys like mosley, JMM, Cotto, young pac hell even Oscar.

      The current top guys

Wilder/fury/joshua none of them are that good, it's fun watching Wilder ko people but I can watch a 30 second clip on YouTube to see that.

Fury/Wilder wasn't a great fight, it really wasn't. It was a fly vs a statue for 99% of it.

GGG? Canelo? Bland as a malt biscuit

Crawford and Spence gonna find a way to not fight for 5 years

      Usyk? Meh

      Who else is there?

Lately the only guys who I truly look forward to watching is Crawford and Loma. I just love their sharpness in there. There are others who I watch, but I will not cancel everything to watch them.

I don't massively watching boxing that much myself these days, but? I am not suddenly going to change my entire personality and pretend like I am a big UFC supporter 'I have attempted to get into the UFC, but I more preferred K1' Female UFC/MMA seems intriguing to only, because of the women 'I find Page Vanzant sp* and afew other women interesting personalities.

The next fight I am looking forward to is David Price vs Dave Allen, cross roads fights like that STILL intrigue me. I agree the feeling that the 90's and 2000's produced seems to not be around, and with HBO leaving boxing 'That has ruined things but? Boxing will survive'.

But there are no fighters in which I follow and supporter, where I will be devastated if they lost 'That all ended with David Haye' now I am just watching boxing, like somebody watches a movie 'And I wonder what is gong to happen, not bothered who loses who wins' just want to see good match ups, violence, competitiveness, and genuine beef at times.

I enjoyed the build up to Malignaggi vs Lobov etc

I think Tyson Fury is completely overrated, not much entertained by him at all. 'I actually like the turn of events which Andy Ruiz Junior has produced, and I think this is exciting new chapter is Joshua's career'.

            I hear you brutha...

It’s hard to keep the interest when the hype is just that - hype. I mean, how many PPV fights in the last 10 years have been FOTY? How many are actually entertaining enough to warrant paying $80 or $100. Very f@#kin few.

Then the abc orgs and agenda driven media chip in. I read some boxing news 24 articles and they are VERY critical of Whyte (and Canelo when he failed his drug test) and his outspoken ways - considering he turned down a final eliminator. I’ve never read ANYTHING critical from boxing scene on Whyte (or when Canelo when he pissed hot) . Agenda driven obviously... like with their IBO advertising in articles. It hard to distinguish what is advertising and what isn’t because they slip ibo into articles and make it look as if it’s part of the news. I think there is actually a law against that - but this is boxing, you get away with anything in this industry (Don King is still an active promoter haha).
Anyway i could go on and on so i will just shut up now.
In conclusion, i’m ****ing over it too!

You've said this too many times for it to be taken seriously.

Watching boxing fans go wild for Fury schooling a stiff euro bum made me think that standards have slipped so bad.

Watching some classic fights then seeing the ppl lose their **** over GGG ALVAREZ 2 which was really just "ok"

This sport isn't what it was and it never will be, I don't think.

Most "fans" nowadays are hayonites who don't care about anything other than blacks protecting their "0" (thanks floyd)

I might go watch UFC, at least the best fight the best there and there's no ducking.

Who knows maybe I'll be cheering the next Lobev on when he smashes the next malinaggi
Wow, you have a point man. I mean, I do see a slight chance of boxing being great again. But you are right man, too much hyping of as you put it 2bums" in boxing which make casuals who know nothing of the sport go wild. Too much ducking and athletic businessmen in boxing now. UFC does still have that element of the best fighting the best no doubt. Sometimes I wonder where boxing will go, will it incline more towards a WWE style or UFC style?
