GGG deserves it. But this is the problem when you give fighters guaranteed contracts worth $365M. They get to cherry pick more than half the fights on their contract.

He deserves the chance to get his titles back having 2 fights with only a point between them.
If Nelo doesn't fight GGG next he's just aging G in my opinion.
and if canelo wins another controversial close fight? i gotta admit id much rather see him fight a few others first

Well it is what it is.
At least give GGG a neutral venue and then we will see who deserves the victory.
I'm sick of Canelos favouritism in boxing.
I like Canelo as a fighter but to beat him you have to beat the corruption in boxing which will not happen unless you can knock him out.

I hope the Kovalev fight goes away

especially if they are talking about a catchweight

not interested in any fight where the likely outcome is, more questions than answers

Kovalev only makes sense if it happens AFTER Canelo beats Smith, and if it happens at the full LHW limit of 175.....

I am sure that Andrade is next

September is 8 weeks away..... so, it does not look like Canelo will be fighting in September

the only reason why Canelo would need to move off his September date is..... Andrade

if his next opponent was Kovalev, he would have fought Kovalev in September..... if his next opponent was Callum Smith, then he would have fought Smith in September.....

Smith let slip that he was told to " prepare for December "

the only reason why Callum Smith would mention December..... would be if he was plan-B, in case the Andrade negotiation falls over

I think it's Andrade..... been saying that for awhile now

Canelo gets what Canelo wants..... so if he does end up fighting Andrade in December like I suspect, then that was his plan all along..... like he said, immediately following the Jacobs win.....

On fighting Demetrius Andrade for the undisputed title

That’s the goal, whoever has the title. It doesn’t matter. Our goal is to unify all the belts, become the undisputed middleweight champion of the world. We’re gonna sit with our team and we’ll come back with a decision.

true to a certain extent canelo has gotten his fair share of close decisions no doubt about that. look at that one judge from the mayweather fight even. I just think in canelo head he sees that fight as lose lose he wins a close fight no credit ggg older not to mention who knows how the public will score it. maybe im off base but thats how i see it
