The IBF ordered GGG to fight Derevianchenko after Martirosyan.

The IBF said you can fight Martirosyan, but Derevianchenko must be next.

GGG fought Martiroyan while holding the IBF title.

GGG then appealed the mandatory to fight Canelo next. The IBF said no, so they took the title.

      No? That’s strange.
All the fighters has weak rivals, all, all the ATG's.

Difference is that they have a lot of great rivals too in his career

GGG has 40 fights and only two great rivals

      He never took risks.

He is a hype job, he had a lot of support of promoters.

And he never was dominant against his only two good rivals

Of fact Canelo whooped his ass the rematch

The IBF said exactly why they stripped him.

“The IBF had to enforce the penalty under Rule 5H for Golovkin having participated in an unsanctioned contest within his weight class and declare the IBF Middleweight title vacant."

That guy who held the middleweight title for almost decade and defended it a record number of times is definitely a hype job.

Until you use him to defend Canelo’s resume. Then he’s one of the best fighters in the world all of a sudden.

Anybody arguing that just because Fielding was somehow ranked in the top 15 shows either that 168 isn't deep or that rankings are full of ****. I'd like to know at what point people would consider Fielding the favorite against somebody.

He was an hype job as in he was made out to be something he's not. He wasn't the ATG unbeatable MW he was hyped up to be. Just a very good fighter that padded his resume with bums.

The IBF said this a month after the fight, after allowing it to happen because they expected GGG to fight Derevianchenko instead of Álvarez.

The wouldn’t have enforced the penalty if GGG had agreed to fight Derevenchenko instead of Canelo. Therefore he was stripped for fighting Canelo next instead of Derevenchenko.

Canelo fighting Golovkin was a risk. Golovkin fighting Canelo wasn't. Those aren't double standards. Those are facts.

That’s a terrible best win on Canelo’s resume then.

That's not a fact. But that shows why they aged Golovkin out. Bernard knew exactly what he was seeing against Brook when Golovkin didn't quite look the same. Another year only added to that.
