It’s garbage man. Jermall is scared to fight tough fighters. Every fighter wants Canelo because it’s a heavy bag. Easy to cop out and yell Canelo.
He just got to 160 so I don't think he's going to 168 anytime soon plus he looked like crap vs a middle of the road guy in Korobov.
Benavides would flatline Charlo at 168.

Canelo can still call himself the WBC MW champion, but doesn't need to concern himself with mandos,

Haymon has another WBC MW champion to showcase on PBC. And he is undefeated, of course. Haymon and the PBC fanboys love their 0's a lot more than real competitive fights.
DAZN has been trying to figure out how to coerce or force GGG to fight Canelo. It’s a major subscription hit for DAZN. Now the WBC can order Charlo vs GGG or Andrade vs GGG. All these guys need to see each other in order that will satisfy DAZN in finalizing the GGG Canelo trilogy. DAZN knows the later the date for Canelo GGG the less buy rate for that month.

Making Canelo Franchise Champion imo had to do with all the money DAZN invested in GGG and Canelo combined. Boxing is and will always be corrupt and it is what it is. All parties act gangsta

But now im thinking, now im looking back to things the fighters and teams around them have said about each other over the last couple of years and im still not seeing it. I will be honest, to suggest Saul Canelo Alverez, arguably the number 1 P4P fighter on the planet right now, is scared of or running from Jermall Charlo just sounds ludicrous to me.

It seems like the only people saying this are American Charlo/PBC fans but im wondering is this idea, this accusation of Canelo ducking Charlo is wider spread than that?
Charlo was in the WBC mando spot and GGG was given permission to fight a rematch with Canelo, with the winner fighting Charlo next. Or so everybody thought.

But when Canelo became WBC champion, GGG was inexplicably ordered to fight Charlo instead of him.

That tells you all you need to know. The WBC and Haymon knew full well there was no way GGG was going to obey that bullshit order, so Canelo and Charlo could avoid each other and Golovkin would be the one who got the flack for "ducking"

Jermall just tweets that making the weight is the hardest part. If you’re a seasoned fighter at a weight it’s not supposed to be difficult. Jermall does look bigger than ever. I wonder if Shields and his team miscalibrated muscle mass in the last 2 years. Jermall feeling to comfortable he skipped a beat.

Thing is, he can still be at 160, but he won’t be 100%.

People forget Chad Dawson has to cut 8-9lbs during the weigh in day for Ward. Not saying Charlo does that, but it could be 2lbs over than what’s calibrated, a bit like Tank Davis flopping on scales.

My point is... who at 160 has disrespected Jermall Charlo after a win in the post conference that also has a belt in his division?

          This isn’t rocket science guys.

I stopped reading there. You have a vivid imagination, but where GGG and Canelo are concerned, your stories are just too predictable to be worth reading.

Come on mate, you can do better than this!

Yeah, bottom line is if Charlo wanted big fights he would have went over to DAZN with Canelo, Andrade, GGG, and Jacob's. All 4 of the big names in his division are there while he's on an island by himself at PBC. It's a shame that boxing works this way but we all know none of the guys at DAZN are gonna go fight on PBC, especially GGG or Canelo. Not sure what Andrade contract looks like but I'm assuming he's locked into DAZN as well

Pretty much this^, both camp are happy with this outcome. Charlo was ok with it as well until this morning, he seem content that he has the belt, the issue for me is where is the competition for him?

Someone else already asked why he and GGG didn't push the mandatory issue, i mean they were mandated to fight each other to get the Canelo belt or fight. And neither of them made any offer or asked for a purse bid.

am getting tired a bit with the whole politics in boxing.

Lol. All boxing fans know Jacobs and Andrade flexed Charlo. You LDBC guys don’t acknowledge that. That’s like letting a guy talk smack to your girl and do nothing about it.

We get it, Jermall has a family and is copping out headlines.

Even Boxingscene reported that Jermall took a call from Haymon about this news. Now that Jermall has a belt, he can call out unification with Andrade. That leaves only Charlo and Canelo in the mix at 160.

Canelo is the type of guy who will fight anyone to prove himself. It's the WBC that created this belt to court him.

I speak reality. When companies are prioritizing on of their biggest investments you think they don’t pull strings to stabilize it?

How long has Canelo vs GGG finalization been talked about?

GGG has to fight Charlo or Andrade now. Since when were Haymon or Charlo concerned about Canelo? Was there any news about Canelo being forced to fight Charlo in September before the news broke?

The WBC Franchise plot is to push Charlo out so that GGG takes the WBC belt.

You better rewatch tape of Jermall vs Trout or Korobov and bet if Charlo can beat GGG.

Aren’t you a GGG fan? Why are you concerned about Charlo? Don’t you want GGG Canelo 3?
