Has Canelo been ducking Jermall Charlo?

Ive seen this accusation banded around the forums and YT since the WBC waved their magic wand and made yet another belt appear out of thin air. But i never heard a peep about it before that. Id never seen or heard accusations that Canelo had been ducking Jermall Charlo.

But now im thinking, now im looking back to things the fighters and teams around them have said about each other over the last couple of years and im still not seeing it. I will be honest, to suggest Saul Canelo Alverez, arguably the number 1 P4P fighter on the planet right now, is scared of or running from Jermall Charlo just sounds ludicrous to me.

It seems like the only people saying this are American Charlo/PBC fans but im wondering is this idea, this accusation of Canelo ducking Charlo is wider spread than that?

He is not ducking Charlo but he doesn't want to fight him if that makes sense

He would rather at this point in his career chase bigger fights and choosing his opponents like Floyd did at the end of his run

Had the WBC called the mando I'm 100% sure Canelo would tell them to **** off and vacated the belt

I don't think he is ducking him. Has Haymon made an offer to Canelo? Hopefully they fight soon.

When Charlo heads over to DAZN, if Canelo doesn't fight him within a year, then he's ducking him.
Charlo has zero opponents over at PBC, he's fighting bum after bum.. when you're building up a rematch, or even ducking one with Korobov, you know it's tough times over there at 160.

He can go to DAZN, still have Haymon as his advisor, have Jacob's, Andrade, Ggg, Canelo and others as possible opponents or he can stay put and fight nobody...

All of a sudden since Canelo was deemed Franchise Champion, all while Canelo been waiting for the Andrade fight this weekend, or Kovalev or Smith, suddenly Canelo is ducking Jermall Charlo whom wasn’t a narrative.

The WBC ordered Charlo vs GGG. The LDBC kept quiet. Winner would fight Canelo. Why didn’t GGG or Charlo press this mandate if it guaranteed Canelo?

What’s even better is now Charlo has a belt, and it’s quite possible GGG will see him now. If GGG gets the belt, Canelo has to own up to his words about getting a belt. Jermall Charlo is more flat floored that Andrade and did errors against his latest opponent. GGG can easily capitalize on those mistakes. Even Jacobs had to move.

GGG can crack harder than Korobov too while still being planted.

Jermall is also having trouble making 160. He looks bigger than GGG too. It means Jermall could be doing himself a disservice... then again a lot of PBC fighters are heavy drainers. Look at Spence, Hurd, Charlos...

            The LDBC idiots as well.

Alvarez recently faced a Daniel Jacobs who Mall ducked & fought Gennady in 2018 & 2017 while Charlo keeps bum hunting. Fk him

Imo, the people controlling Canelo and Charlo don't want them to fight each other, and both sides have influence with the corrupt WBC. So a new WBC title has been magicked into existence to accommodate all concerned.

Canelo can still call himself the WBC MW champion, but doesn't need to concern himself with mandos,

Haymon has another WBC MW champion to showcase on PBC. And he is undefeated, of course. Haymon and the PBC fanboys love their 0's a lot more than real competitive fights.

Canelo is only ducking him if he faces someone worse without a belt or someone who brings less to the table legacy/moneywise+convenience wise. Same rule as always.

I’m probably the only honest poster here. If Eubank Jr., Truax, or Jacobs can fight at 168, why isn’t this “unstoppable lion” not asking Haymon for Dirrell or Plant?

It’s garbage man. Jermall is scared to fight tough fighters. Every fighter wants Canelo because it’s a heavy bag. Easy to cop out and yell Canelo.

You don't want to press the issue because the goal is to fight Canelo not to fight for the WBC belt

Canelo vacated the belt before everyone knew he would vacate it again if a mandatory is called
