It's to conform to the PBC, like the WBC always does. This way Charlo gets to pretend he is a world champ and the media will eat it up. No network issues for the PBC to handle with in relation to Charlo, he is a champ and happy now. No risk of losing him to DAZN and no risk of him losing his 0 to Canelo. They get to fool the fans that Charlo is defending his world title on PBC Vs low-ranked contenders getting highlight-reel KO's while pretending the other guys are ducking him. Just like they did with Wilder for a while.
I know. You’re spot on. The majority on here seem to be promoting the idea that Canelo is ducking Charlo or other mandatories, lmao. Like the cash cows of boxing have never had the rules bent for them before Canelo.

Charlo isn’t a 2 division champ no matter how much PBC will be promoting him as one just like Canelo isn’t a 3 division champ with his WBA “regular” title.

Canelo is a good fighter, man. Don't worry about it so much. It looks weak but so what.....

        How is that Canelo's fault?

Its baically like the same idiots who run around here hating on certain fighters cause of what their fans say. lol. No logic behind it. People can only be responsible for what they do not for what others do.

Canelo lost my respect when he fought Fielding for the WBA regular or whatever the **** it's called and now as a Franchise champions he has to do 2 social events for the WBC every year

Say what you want about Floyd but he never went chasing those paper belts

Show me where I said it was his fault. Don't be talking about logic and idiots if you're giving up on reading comprehension.

The reason it makes it harder to like him is the same reason it's harder for me to like pop idols. They have a certain level of talent that I respect. But, when they start getting extra help, being made to look like they did things they actually didn't do, I'm not as hyped anymore.

I'd much rather root for a guy like Ruiz who overcomes adversity and gets no gifts. It's not Canelo's fault he gets treated like a princess, but I just don't like people in that role.

1, "I USED TO stick up for canelo" - USED to as NOT NO MORE.,
2, "BUT" - again re-affriming that YOU NO LONGER Stick up for him.
3, now #3 is the most important part, it shows why you changed ( no longer stick up for him) and the reason are beyond Canelo control (but does that change you from blaming him? hint-NO) = Putting the blame on canelo for what others do that he has no control over = in other words "his fault" (as I put it), Canelo has no control over the Industry loving him and catering to him nor does he have any say in which way the fights are judged.

I’m sure Wilder will be named “Franchise” champ too and in effect be immune to mandatories.

Some of you f**ktards are making it seem like the WBC is protecting Canelo from the big bad Charlo who can’t even beat Korobov, LMAO.

I understand a lot of you clowns are obsessed with Canelo for neutering Borat but to make this situation all about Canelo is beyond pathetic. This “Franchise” title is literally to suck off all the top dogs in boxing, not just Canelo. Guys like Wilder and Lomachenko will benefit most because as we’ve seen in the past Canelo is above any title. Guys don’t want to fight Canelo for any ****** title, they want to fight him for the money.
It’s because he is the money guy and Mexican and they always bend over for him just like they did for Floyd and Oscar it’s all about the money dude and canelo is the cash cow

If you honestly think that's a logical post, no amount of explaining is going to clarify it for you.
Correlating "putting blame" and "not sticking up for" might make sense on an emotional level to you but they aren't related. I can choose to not put effort into defending the guy, and it does not mean I'm bashing him.

This is shyt I had to explain to Golovkin fans for years. I can see fault in things surrounding a guy and criticize those without discrediting the fighter's talents, integrity, etc.
