I think Diaz is going to be able to handle Pac at 135.... Pac wont be able to absord the punishment of a solid boxer at 135....but that is jusnt my opinion.
Diaz accepts Pacman's Challenge

Height is not a factor because Diaz and Pac are both 5'6. Both have speed. Weight issues, against Suico, Diaz weigh in at 144 during fight time; while Pacquiao against Morales(or Larios) weighin at 140. Defense, Pacquiao is working on it and it improved a little, Diaz has a good defense defending his head. If Pac does body punches, will Diaz hands still be up protecting his head or will it defend his body. Also, u said right there, "other opponents", Pacquiao is a quality opponent. If Diaz beats Pacquiao, his stock wil rise like never before(comparing to the other opponents). But if Pacquiao beats Diaz, criticism will hound Diaz, saying he has no punching power, his defense is not good enough, an overrated fighter.Originally posted by NewportzI'm well aware of this...
That's why i would never claim Diaz as the true 135 titilist..or any other title that compares Diaz rightfully to what he has yet to earn...
But, i'm basing my opinion on his chances against a smaller Pacquiao on what he has done to his other opponents, his style, his speed, defence, and overall boxing prowess...
If Pac and Diaz fight, its 50-50, no clear favorite.Comment

If this fight was to take place in 2009, Id pick Diaz all the way. I really don't think Diaz is ready for Pacquiao. On all reality, has Diaz really beaten anyone?
bro if you've done any kind of boxing in real life you would know that "Nobody" has pillow fists. Everyone can crack whether you got pop or not. The human jaw aint meant to be punched. Saying Diaz has "pillow fists" is a straight out insult and you know it.

I think Diaz stops him late. His defense has improved immensely of late and the combination of his size advatange and his activity level will overwhelm Pacquiao IMO.
Pacquiao has insinuated that he would try to fight him from the outside but in that sense, would he be fighting his own fight? and is that easier said than executed?Comment

What? Was he supposed to "murder" a guy with a 15-1-1 record and trained by Evangelista Cotto? Its called being tested, he showed alot of heart and an alright chin. He shouldnt of been facing him anyway hes still a prospect and so is Jimenez, you most likely didnt even see the fight..Originally posted by nelsoncmSo what's the big deal?
Whoever said anyone is unbeatable is ignorant as a monkey.
The worst thing that can happen to a boxer is to lose to someone you're supposed to totally murder.
Escobedo for instance.Comment
