When did he get the chance to fight GGG? Or Canelo?

Hope GGG takes it. It would be a very good fight.

Top guys avoid mandatories against him.

He hasn't fought top guys in the division.

It's a good fight. Curious where they'd go with the networks though.. and the split could be a stalling point. Mall has said he's willing to go over for Canelo but does that also extend to GGG? Equally GGG claims that DAZN are 'working for him' or whatever but does that include letting his old legs cross the road to SHO and risk devaluing their investment? Guess it depends on how his contract is structured.

Either way I can't imagine Jermall getting the champions split against Golovkin - that would be a deal killer right out the gate - even 50/50 is probably pushing it given their relative draw, but as champion 'Mall does have a reasonable entitlement so should be expected to hold out.

Sadly I ain't actually seeing this one as likely. Split and network issues make it pretty much dead in the water I'd say.

They don't have to go to purse bid. DAZN just has to put up the money for Charlo. GGG is still getting his $15 mil regardless of what Charlo is making. So it's not like GGG can low ball Charlo for a higher split for himself. As he says, DAZN works for him. If he wants the fight he can get it made without taking any hit to his purse.

So that'd kinda depend on it going to DAZN I guess... suppose it's how much DAZN are willing to pay which may depend to an extent at least on how much Golovkin wants it. The whole Canelo Franchise Champ bullchit has basically meant that neither of is guaranteed a shot at Canelo win or lose - though winning will probably improve their chances - as well as making the Green Strap basically a meaningless trinket.

I'd love to imagine these two dudes would give us this fight to reward the fans of 'em both for loyalty and dedication to the sport, but....

That franchise champ is the biggest piece of bull**** I've seen in boxing. Nothing about it makes any sense. Canelo isn't a champ. If your fight a champ and you beat the champ you become the champ. But you can't win the franchise championship if you beat Canelo. People can talk the WBA super and all their belts but nothing in boxing compares to this franchise champ bull****.

Then he comes back saying he wants a Canelo fight when at the time Andrade held a belt, Jacobs held a belt, as did Canelo. Two other guys Canelo could fight and unify with and become undisputed. There's also options for him at 168 and 175. Golovkin wants to just come back and demand his shot at the cash cow in the sport who literally everyone wants to fight basically thinking he can just bump in front of everyone who is in line earning their shot.

Sure, fine, give him a fight before the Canelo fight. Canelo said "No problem, go grab a belt then we fight." They offered him Andrade, a good credible opponent for him to earn his shot who holds a belt. He turns him down and tries to fight N'Dam instead...DAZN turns it down. Then he grabs some soft touch unknown from Canada with an undefeated record. Somehow loses two of the first three rounds before overwhelming and knocking him out in round 4.

Now he's demanding the Canelo fight next with a "my way or the highway" sort of undertone and attitude. To the cash cow of the sport? Is he serious or? How many PPV's did Golovkin sell again without Canelo? Number was so low I literally forgot lol.
Let's talk about some of your opinions bro.

Imagine all your life you knew your talent but you but got the short end of the stick almost every single time. Now imagine when you finally get a chance to cement your legacy you are completely robbed in the first fight everyone knows you won. Then when you are going into a rematch your opponent gets popped for PEDs. Then, because your opponent was caught cheating you take a tune up waiting for them because you didnt get the W you deserved and you opponents fans ridicule you because you wanted to wait to fight the best opposition the division has to offer. Then you lose a razor thin decision that people still felt you won to the guy you already beat and needed PEDs.

How does that make you feel?

If it was me I would have stormed out too. Look at Fury when he lost to Wilder. If Fury had stormed out would you have been mad at him? The margin that GGG won the first fight was wider than the one that Fury won.

And you think Canelo can fight at 168 or even 175? Let's get real here. You "fans" claim Canelo is a small MW at 160 but think he can fight at 175? You guys claim GGG waited for a smaller guy to move up and pick him off? But that smaller guy keeps fighting in weight classes above 160? That's agenda. You guys will say anything that fits your agenda. Canelo is a solid sized MW and his ceiling is 168 tops.

Earn their shot. Who did Canelo beat to deserve a shot at GGG? Who has Andrade beat? And why didn't Canelo fight Andrade first? Or BJS? Before fighting GGG? Hmm?

                  Agenda. Agenda. Agenda.

PPVs determine how good of a fighter you are?

How many PPVs do all the top champs sell? Fury? Usyk? Kovalev? Lomachenko? Inoue?

Those guys garbage because they cant sell PPvs?

Hypocritical much? How does it feel to be on the "winning team" hmm? Being on team Canelo must make you feel great eh?

Look at Canelo's resume, then look at Golovkin's.

Come back to me when you see reality lol.
