yea I agree with that, but the problem with the IBF is..... they are too trigger-happy, and their rankings are shlt.....

...... so when they pull the trigger too early, like they did with Fury..... we end up with Glazkov vs Martin

the following scenario could turn out to be true.....

1) they may have stripped the best heavyweight on the planet..... 2) the current IBF champ may not be one of the two best heavyweights on the planet..... 3) the original guy they stripped could have his hands on that title within the next 12-18 months.....

.... which would make the IBF look pretty silly in hindsight

I disagree about them being trigger happy. Fury could have applied for an exemptiont like Indongo did so that he can get the Crawford fight, Fury and team chose not to do that and the IBF made a decision.

As for the ranking system, well, can't really argue that much with you there, although Jacobs did just lose his IBF title to Canelo. From what I understand of the rules, aren't you supposed to work your way back up again afted losinf the title?

GGG also refused to fight his mandatory and got stripped, and then lost his next fight to Canelo, so how exactly would he be ranked higher?
