There are no vacant belts at light heavyweight, except the Ring.

WBA - Dmitry Bivol (Interim: Marcus Browne)
WBC - Oleksandr Gvozdyk (lineal champion)
    IBF - Artur Beterbiev
    WBO - Sergey Kovalev
    Ring - vacant
IBO - Sven Fornling (not a real title anyway)

He could maybe try to become WBA (Regular) Champion if they bump Bivol to Super, but since you don't count Canelo's Regular title at 168, I'm guessing you wouldn't count it at 175 either.

      You’re guessing he wants to do a Ward vs Dawson or a 152 May-Canelo or a 145 May/Marquez

I was more hyped for Kovalev vs Yarde. Does this mean Kov vs Yarde isn't going to purse bid no more?

Canelo vs Kovalev at 172 or some catchweight isn't all that appealing to me. I get it its for a 4th belt for Canelo & he'd be the first guy since Armstrong I believe to hold 3 belts in 3 divisions at the same time iirc so fair play, but these low hanging fruit fights for Canelo are getting more tired than talk of a GGG trilogy fight for the people bored of that.

        Canelo KO's Kov between 6 & 9 rounds.

Fight him at 175 with no morning 2nd weigh in BS or give GGG the rematch he should have given him in May. If he beats Kovalev would he continue to defend the title at the new Canelo weight of 172 with a morning weigh in as well? Kovalev is a big 175 pounder who would be drained at 172 and even more drained with a morning weigh in. I guess that is the idea of this big bold Canelo challenge.
why does he have to keep fighting GGG man, he already proved he is the superior fighter...

Wait did Canelo drop that 168 belt? I thought he tried to & then they was all like "you can hang onto it for a lil bit Canelo".

I thought Canelo was gonna be the 1st guy holding 3 belts in 3 weight divisions at the same time since Henry Armstrong for a second.

I guess you musta missed those fights.

First fight was a legit draw that most people thought GGG won. Second fight was mad close & most people thought GGG won. Both fights were disputed outcomes.

Canelo can try his best impersonation but it'll never be equal.

most people(meaning GGG fans) Canelo proved to be the superior boxer in 2 different styles...3rd fight would just be worse for an even older GGG..its boring now

I mean...if Canelo could outland him in more than 1/11 rounds or 3/11 rounds I would see your point on being the 'superior boxer'...so yeah honestly even that point falls a little flat considering he was getting outlanded all night in both fights...great fighter though I take nothing away from him. First 2 fights just showed me he couldn't quite hang with GGG, no shame in that.

As for the 3rd fight, I mean it is what it is...I would like to see it but I would also like to see GGG in with some other guys at 160 and 168...we will see what happens
