Comments Thread For: Hearn: Wilder Will Not Take Risk of Ortiz, He'll Face Fury Next

Anyone in the top 15 is a threat to Wilder. Szpilka was outboxing him FFS.

Soar looser can't forgive himself for ditching Ortiz, ha-ha. It must hurt very much to know that even loss to Ortiz would be better than loosing to fat mexican heavyweight who nobody knew before beating dolly jay,

Why would he duck a guy he already knocked out?

Hearn is full of s.hit. But I do believe that Wilder and his team swung and missed badly by announcing the Ortiz and Fury rematches during the Ruiz-AJ fight week. I’m sure Haymon and crew would have loved an in-house showdown in Wilder-Ruiz. Even if they were forced to wait till after a Ruiz-AJ rematch. Doing an Ortiz rematch and then the Ruiz-AJ rematch would likely have been more appealing than dealing with the awkward Fury in a rematch. But Wilder already announced both. So if he did back outta a Fury rematch, it would look like a duck.

Any top 15 fighter is dangerous for Wilder, he can be outboxed by most.
