Exactly what Joshua did and why he failed. Watch the 3rd round again, Joshua unloaded on Andy but Andy didn’t break. Joshua can’t beat Ruiz in a firefightComment

You mentioned four guys. Two were old and the other two are not that good. Yes Parker beat Ruiz but styles make fights and it was a disputed decision. Dillian Whyte? Another overhyped brit. Joshua's career was guided brilliantly. His fans talk about his resume. Look at his fights from Charles Martin to the present. Notice that Ortiz is missing. Why? Too much power. Klitschko was 41 and Povetkin was 38. Nothing much else. The brits obviously are not wise to the sanctioning bodies and their shenanigans. Who did Takam beat to get that number 2 slot? No one! That's boxing folks!Comment

Look back at all those fights he took some serious shots and was either hurt bad or knocked down in all of them expect the Parker fight.
Ruiz is a bad match up for him style wise. Hes an excellent counter puncher with superior hand speed, a good chin, and a better inside fighter. Being more offensive offers Ruiz more opportunities to counter & AJs gas tank depletes fast. He also is uncomfortable in close quarters & seems to almost panic and get hit with unnecessary shots
Like i said before to win he needs to pace himself, learn how to use an effective ramrod jab and tie up when necessary.Comment

Good points but he is very robotic and that chin? Doubt he will ever be the force that some that he was!Look back at all those fights he took some serious shots and was either hurt bad or knocked down in all of them expect the Parker fight.

AJ should win the rematch, he has the superior physical talent and now knows what he’s up against!
Keep Ruiz at the end of the jab, double the jab or triple it and circle him all night and if Andy gets close just tie him up!
I think AJ is gonna fight Ruiz like he did Parker, just relying on jabs and movement and a ref who will keep Andy from working inside!
AJ by UD in the rematch and a trilogy will sell like hot cakes!Comment

I feel that a lot of people are unnerved at how Joshua has taken this defeat, and just moved on. You have Tyson Fury begging Joshua to retire, or trying to convince himself that he will disappear. Then you have Wilder getting all brave, and kicking a man while he is down 'Although I do think Wilder is the most dangerous heavyweight etc'.
It is only really Dillian Whyte who was straight up and respectful during the aftermath of Joshua's defeat.
'I still believe that Joshua will win the rematch, and go on to beat all of the other big boys' I have no doubt in my mind that he destroys Tyson Fury 'But Deontay Wilder is a different ball-game'Last edited by PRINCEKOOL; 06-22-2019, 01:32 PM.Comment
