most unbeatable fighter of all time?

to me it's 1974's george foreman.

there was literally one man alive at his time who could've beaten him and he did.

all the other heavies throught history would've gotten knocked out.

What's really mind boggling is that we never even saw the best Foreman.

1978 - 1986 Foreman would've been waging war with Earnie Shavers, Trevor Berbick, Pinklon Thomas, Tony Tucker, Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks, Mike Tyson, Buster Douglas.

The Rumble in the Jungle changed everything. If he had won that fight and never lost his confidence, imagine how different boxing history would've been. But the loss doesn't matter as much as his state of mind. Maybe George needed someone like an Emanuel Steward to help get his mind right after the Ali loss.

No fighter is unbeatable. I do believe Foreman would have beaten Ali in a rematch, which is why Ali ducked it. Foreman fought the worst possible fight he could have against Ali.

1974s? Wait, wasn't that the same year Ali beat him too? Didn't do boxrec but I'm pretty sure it was around those years

The straight-forward answer is Tyson Fury.

              Pound-for-Pound? Looks like Willie Pep.

Sorry my bad. I was in a hurry reading this while in working hours

He did seem to have that aura of invincibility before getting handed by Ali. Just shows how big of a win that was really.

It’s Roy Jones. In his prime he was the closest thing to an unbeatable fighter there ever was.

I don't think he means unbeatable by avoiding the top challengers like Jones did. He means actually in the ring.
