Just last week he was saying G wasn't getting the Canelo fight until he got a belt now the truth comes out that they've been in talks.

Same thing is gonna happen with this the 3rd fight, DAZN will put that pressure on him & he'll cave again.
Still guessing how the DAZN contracts work, but apparantly Golovkin gets 30m from DAZN if he fights Canelo, and presumably less for a different opponent.

Canelo's DAZN contract has escalators in, so he'll be in the same situation as Golovkin - he'll get a lot more for fighting Golovkin vs alternative opponents.

Usually A-side is simply the one with the most leverage in negotiations, eg Canelo got 55% last time to G's 45% - higher percentage due to more leverage in negotiations = defn. A-side.

This time its not clear if there is an A-side except in a notional sense, as the purses are locked down in advance. The A-side might be the one most willing to walk away from the DAZN already-fixed bonus payment for the fight.

So is Golovkin more willing to walk away from the money on the table than DLH ? Literally the million dollar question. .

My bet is its even money on either the fight not happening, or it happening somewhere else other than Vegas - I suspect Golovkin's gone all-in and its up to DLH to call or fold.

      Smh...

From 2003-2005 GGG fought in the amatuers against BOYS at 75 kg when he was a Grown man.
I think you are going to find that the other top boxers in the armatuers were grown men.
Matvey Korobov, Andy Lee, Lucian Bute, Yordanis Despaigne and Andre Dirrell are just some of the men he beat. They were all about his age. If you don't believe me go check. The facts are easily available. The point the OP was making is at the same age Golovkin was fighting in lighter weight classes. Canelo maybe shorter but he is blocky. Look at his neck and legs. He's not tiny compared to Golovkin like some people try and make out. He fought at Canelo weight for an extended time because as he said, "my body feels better at this weight". He takes a punch like an elite middleweight, he hits like a middleweight. He's a middleweight and has been for quite a while.

Freedom of expression is a beautiful thing.
        Familiar with it?

No issue with that...but if one wants to be considered impartial yet is continually condescending towards a fighter or fighters, they won't really be taken seriously on boxing analysis.

Again no issue with it, a lot of us have our biases but when someone makes his so clear and then tries to claim objectivity, it comes across as a hollow argument. My 2 cents, just trying to help bro.

Good analysis. I agree I am crude, sarcastic, and over nationalistic, but it is who I am. Also, I do not like lie, just shoot it straight, in a world of so many people wanting to be PC, I try to be as clear as possible, often times it comes off harsh. But I have not been wrong very often and I give credit were credit is do. I have a very high expectations of pugilism so I am hard in commentary, but I am objective. Thanks homie.

No problem...I can't recall many of your posts so I am not sure how much we agree on boxing...but I can also be those other traits you mentioned so I can relate on that. I especially despise the overly PC culture we currently live in...it is killing us in a way imo.

I also love the sweet science as you do, and we all have our opinions and things can get heated sometimes...just the way it is. Boxing/sports can bring out great things and not so great but overall it brings us all a lot of enjoyment, probably more good than bad.
