Canelo's DAZN contract has escalators in, so he'll be in the same situation as Golovkin - he'll get a lot more for fighting Golovkin vs alternative opponents.
Usually A-side is simply the one with the most leverage in negotiations, eg Canelo got 55% last time to G's 45% - higher percentage due to more leverage in negotiations = defn. A-side.
This time its not clear if there is an A-side except in a notional sense, as the purses are locked down in advance. The A-side might be the one most willing to walk away from the DAZN already-fixed bonus payment for the fight.
So is Golovkin more willing to walk away from the money on the table than DLH ? Literally the million dollar question. .
My bet is its even money on either the fight not happening, or it happening somewhere else other than Vegas - I suspect Golovkin's gone all-in and its up to DLH to call or fold.
