Canelo’s fourth weight class? Technically, you’re right. But are you really gonna try and include what Canelo weighed when he was fifteen in your size argument? Boxrec tracks GGG’s amateur career back to 2000 when he won the World Jr Championship at light welterweight, which is 141 in the amateurs. And he was seventeen or eighteen at the time. By the time Canelo was eighteen, he was fighting as a welterweight. So if you look at the divisions each was fighting in at similar ages, they’re not very far apart in natural size. Canelo may actually be naturally a little bigger.

The hilarious thing is that the same exact judges are the ones that judged both canelo fights as the ones he fell in love with at msg because they gave him an unfair advantage. Not sure how much you know about amateur boxing. If you’re like me, you only pay close attention to it once every four years. That said, GGG competed internationally as a amateur. It’s a pretty safe bet that the competition he faced at international boxing tournaments was a helluva lot better than the vast majority of the grown men Canelo faced with losing records as a teenager fighting in dirt arenas in Mexico.

That said, the competition they faced has nothing to do with natural size. Your claim is that GGG is naturally much larger. And you supported your claim by stating Canelo is in his fourth weight class. I called bulls.hit on it because you’re counting divisions Canelo fought in when he was fifteen. When GGG was fifteen, he was probably fighting in divisions lower than 140, which is where Canelo started his pro career. GGG was fighting at 141 at eighteen.

Exactly!!!! Even though I slightly disagree, I think G clearly won the 1st fight 2nd fight I thought was a draw but wasnt mad about Canelo getting it & wouldn't have been mad if G got it. Either way both fights were close the 2nd being razor thin. I think the 3rd plays out the same way, whoever wins doesn't win by much

I’m very much in the minority. I thought Canelo won the first fight and GGG won the rematch. Either way, it points to the fact that nothing has been settled between the two. And there needs to be a third fight.

I don't think the venue is the problem--he needs to advocate more for or against the judges being selected. He can still get screwed in California, NY, Texas or overseas.

Well judges said he did ,I accept that but what have Canelo right to have first fights and everything to do with them,in his favour.
