Yanks didn’t really face the real might of the Luftwaffes and Uboats. Most of them had been destroyed before they joined the war.

His biggest gaffe was the adventure against Stalin and the Red Army. That was where he lost the war and over 90% of the ****’s military capability. You don’t invade a formidable country that big where everyone is a nationalist and a country with a history where there has never been a successful invasion (not too sure about this). Once the Soviet broke the eastern flank and started marching towards Berlin, it was over.

Yanks mostly fought the Italian and Japanese forces. ****s were already done for the most part when they joined the war.
The Mongols did pretty well in Ukraine and Russia. Sacked Kiev, and held the Rus people as vassals for two centuries.

Re fighting Japanese and Italians....for one, my father would disagree with this statement. If the Germans were as absent as you suggest, then who destroyed much of Naples after the US invasion of Sicily and southern Italy? Yep, it was the retreating German army. Certainly the German forces were crippled by the Soviets...no one argues against that fact...but your anti-US comments are biased and ideological in nature, not fact based.

Second, regarding fighting Japanese...the Nippon forces had forced UK armies to surrender and taken over most of eastern Asia, defeating armed forces from several nations. The US fought them basically alone for 3 years. They fought with suicidal intensity, far more than any German units. Took two atom bombs to get them to quit. And don't give us any flak about the bombs.....I'll give you one word in counterpoint: Dresden.

I agree with 95% of this video. The gypsy bum is a de****able human being and a boring gay boxer.

He and the hack, Tommy Robinson, are also friends.
I think it's because of what he said after the Wlad fight "I am moving out of the country. I am going to America where champions are better thought of. I am moving to Los Angeles where people have a better life. I made the decision last week to go where people admire success."

Maybe. But without the US we would have been fighting the ****s in Western Europe and the Japs in East Asia on our own.

The Yanks played decisive roles in ending both those conflicts ... and especially in finishing off the Japs.

Mongols sacked Rus' principalities with dispersed tribesmen but left everything intact without occupation. And the Russians returned the favour by conquering Mongol empire and occupying it.

Not taking shots at your father but he's wrong. You can't claim you won a war you joined 3 years late towards the end when the ****'s military might which were primarily the Luftwaffes and Uboats had mostly been destroyed and they were retreating. I'm sure he'll also disagree with what happened in Vietnam after US forces were disgracefully smacked by the Vietcong despite having the advantage in the air, sea and land and dropping napalm on Vietnamese and its own forces. That's how war is but it's always good to tell the truth. And telling the truth doesn't make anyone anti-American, Americans just have an uncanny way of lying a lot and revisionism is American's past time.

BBC News: WHO WON WORLD WAR 2?

            Second front

Mr Falin, meanwhile, argues that the war could have been brought to an end more quickly if the second front, in France, had been opened before 1944.

"How many millions of people would have remained alive?" he asks.

"Many death camps reached full power precisely in the second half of 1943 and in 1944."

Mr Overy says that the West has a view of the war as a global conflict, because of its fight against Japan, for example, whereas the Soviet view is of a "national crusade to repel the invader".

Mr Falin cites figures suggesting that German forces suffered 93% of their casualties on the Soviet front and argues that this shows the Soviet contribution was decisive.

But he adds that every single US, UK, Canadian or other Allied soldier who died "made a big, important and necessary contribution to the victory, which was a shared victory".

Independent Newspaper: We should never forget - the Soviets won World War II in Europe

The Red Army was "the main engine of ****sm’s destruction," writes British historian and journalist Max Hastings in "Inferno: The World at War, 1939-1945." The Soviet Union paid the harshest price: though the numbers are not exact, an estimated 26 million Soviet citizens died during World War II, including as many as 11 million soldiers. At the same time, the Germans suffered three-quarters of their wartime losses fighting the Red Army.

"It was the Western Allies’ extreme good fortune that the Russians, and not themselves, paid almost the entire ‘butcher’s bill’ for [defeating **** Germany], accepting 95 per cent of the military casualties of the three major powers of the Grand Alliance," writes Hastings.

I don't rate the use of nuclear weapons. It's basically like using PED for undue advantage against a clean boxer.

Vietnam wasn't really a war, just a "UN Resolution". So it's like an exhibition match, it doesn't count against our record.
