Why didn't Finkel show up in the Joshua/Ortiz fight?

Finkel is going to be ringside, with Skipper, for Joshua's defense against Andy Ruiz on June 1 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He says Wilder will not be ringside for the fight.

“No, (Ortiz rumours) not true. That is something we are working on now, hopefully by next week it will be resolved. I had dinner the other night with John Skipper, we discussed the Joshua fight and I also have been in touch with Top Rank," Finkel said to The Sun.
Shelly Finkel, the co-manager of WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, is exploring three big options for the future. Last Saturday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Wilder pulled off a crushing first round knockout of mandatory challenger Dominic Breazeale.

Did he chicken out or what?

He distracts organising meetings he's never going to show up to while making other plans. Like when he cancelled the meeting with Hearn to discuss a Wilder fight.

That turned out to be lies as well. Fury has said the Wilder fight isn't signed.

I mean where did Wilder get that "Fury is signed" thing from other than Finkel?
