Nevada, by contrast, has no state income tax. They still have to pay federal taxes, but nothing more.

So unless this dude has the power to change tax laws in New York, they’d be fools to fight there.
So why did Anthony Joshua fight at MSG instead of Nevada or another " tax friendly" state? There must be more to this! Although I prepare my own taxes, I am not a CPA but there are certainly loopholes that the moneymakers know about!

I seriously doubt if Joshua knew about the differences between tax laws from state to state.

Hearn surely does, but why should he care — it comes out of AJ’s purse, haha. And he stood to make more with Brits flying over from London to NYC, which is closer.

Remember, he was originally fighting Miller, who is a New Yorker. Maybe he would have sold out if that had been the opponent fighting in his own city.

If you were in Golovkins shoes would you want the fight to be in Vegas?

Of course not but Golovkin has no say in any of this. He'll get what canelo decides, when canelo decides, and the whining he's doing is not a good look and isn't gonna help him.
