Unfortunately, the WBC is going to give Canelo all the time he wants because they want his sanctioning fees. In addition, the WBC just so happens to be a Mexican based sanctioning body. So Canelo is in very good hands. The last thing they would want is a GGG trilogy.

Oh yeah. Golovkin probably won't take it though.

How whyte and charlo still haven't got title shots is mind blowing, corruption at its best, such a shame as the wbc is the most prestigious belt, shame its reputation is going down hill due to corruption like this.

He already didn't I think, or at least Loeffler indicated that fight wasn't gonna happen, which means that the WBC should already have made Jermall mando by default. Can't really see why Canelo would have a problem with fighting Jermall after seeing how he looked against Matvey, but it's possible GBP or DAZN might not want to take the chance without some options on Jermall which may not be forthcoming - hell they might just not even think Jermnall is worth enough. Either way, if Canelo says no for whatever reason I'd be very surprised if the WBC attempt to force it.

                Why not?
If that's the only fight Charlo is willing to step up in, why not?
Otherwise, he will continue to fight nobodies.

Question is, will Loeffler and GGG just sit it out and wait for Canelo?

If GGG stops ducking Andrade and fights him this fall then yeah, this is a fight I'd like to see. If GGG chooses to fight someone outside the top 50 again, then I'd like to see Canelo Vs. Andrade instead.

I'll have to try to find the interview with Loeffler but I liked how neither side went to the media and claimed the other was ducking. It's good to see for a change.

As far as Jermall's lackluster performance against Korobov, I'm still on the fence about it. I might pick both Canelo and Golovkin to beat him but the only time we've seen Charlo look less than stellar was against lefties. Matvey was a late replacement as well so who knows.....
