AJ is in a bad situation here.
He didn’t just get clipped like Lennox did (against McCall and against Rahman). He got beat up. I like AJ but he could be damaged goods. We will find out soon enough if he’s able to overcome this. IF he can, he may just end up being a legend. If he doesn’t, I imagine he may end up being a good heavyweight just under the elite of his era, kind of like Razor Ruddock was in the era of Tyson/Lewis/Holyfield/Bowe.
The only difference being Lewis was down and out after getting clipped in those 2 fights and Joshua got up and tried to continue (in body if not in spirit). Maybe his corner should have spotted the signs of concussion at the end of the 3rd and stopped it, but then they'd have taken criticism for not allowing the champ to go out on his shield.Comment

Once again Hearn is telling us what Joshua is saying instead of us hearing it from Joshua. Maybe Hearn should start recording these conversations with Joshua so we'll believe him.
The way he talks about Joshua is not the way Joshua comes off in publicComment

Come on, we all know Joshua is capable of beating Ruiz. He beat Povetkin who's a MUCH better boxer and hits harder than Ruiz. **** happens in boxing. He'll make it right in the rematch I'm sure, or either he'll fight the wrong fight and lose again. But to say slugging it out would be a mistake, well you don't know that for sure. He could have easily knocked Ruiz out after that one knockdown with 1 more good shot.Comment
