Comments Thread For: Hearn: Anthony Joshua Wants To Flatten Andy Ruiz in Rematch

New York - Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport stayed in the U.S. after his fighter Anthony Joshua (22-1, 21 KO's) lost four belts and suffered a huge upset loss to Andy Ruiz (33-1, 22 KO's) on June 1 in New York's Madison Square Garden.

AJ has to figure how he will defend against Po Boy barrage of punches that he rushes him with.

Fast Eddie you mean you want him to flatten Ruiz because he burnt your meal ticket and you don’t want PBC and Al Haymon to have all the belts and shut your monkey ass out of the picture

I think all world level heavyweight pray it happens.

It is better to fight Joshua for a big payday than haymon`s champs for smaller money.

A.J, I don't know where you currently rank after your embarrassing defeat to Andy Ruiz but, with another L you might have to fight Junior Fa, BJ Flores or a Fres Oquendo to work your way up.

yeah i agree, you could feel the disappointment in Wilder and Fury when he lost first time out

I too would rather fight glass-jaw hype-job for lots of money. Easy-work.

Hearn stays exposing himself for his gamesmanship and the type of shrewd hack he’s.

The more I listen to him, the more it gets clearer that this was a fixed fight.

AJ is in a bad situation here.
He didn’t just get clipped like Lennox did (against McCall and against Rahman). He got beat up. I like AJ but he could be damaged goods. We will find out soon enough if he’s able to overcome this. IF he can, he may just end up being a legend. If he doesn’t, I imagine he may end up being a good heavyweight just under the elite of his era, kind of like Razor Ruddock was in the era of Tyson/Lewis/Holyfield/Bowe.
