He could have easily knocked Ruiz out after that one knockdown with 1 more good shot.
Pedvetkin is a bum who gasses out after 5-6 rounds, Joshua did land another good shot after scoring knockdown Ruiz took it well and countered him putting aj ass on the canvas

At the end of the day most KO's in the HW division result from recklessness, as in general the big lads rely more heavily on power than the lighter guys do and are more susceptible to a counter punch.
Ruiz relied on his speed not power thats what won him the exchanges though and thats the advantage he has over all the top heavyweights at the moment Joshua is very basic 1-2 and a left hook, Wilder is all jab and straight right his left hook is basically non-existent unless he already has his opponent hurt, and Fury is a jab jab straight with the occasional left hook and uppercut mixed in but with very little power behind them out of the 3 he has the best punch selection but there isn't enough behind them to cause many trouble.

i mean can some one point out a notable win he has on his record??
Whyte, Kilitschko, Povetkin, Parker. All rated heavyweights, and all in under 22 fights. And lets be honest, the Wlad that AJ fought was way better than the one Fury beat.

Wanting to knock Ruiz out was what got AJ Ko'd in the first place. He should have just tried to win the fight. AJ really struggles with shorter guys, and Ruiz is able to walk forward and take punches to land his own. Can't see AJ being able to keep moving beyond 3 rounds before he slows down.

Joshua should be careful and try to box safely in a rematch, because he can get knocked out again.

STOP SAYIBG THE VLAD THAT FOUGHT AJ WAS DOFFERENT FROM THE VLAD THAT FOUGHT FURY! you’re wrong. The style match up made for a more entertaining fight cause aj don’t got the skill to snooze a “*****ko” out.. lol but I agree completely with aj gassing out vs any of the 3 tops heavys I even see fury stopping him... 11th round stoppage. Fury’s feet are to fast. dude is a freak. And I’m a wilder fan. Mostly cause he’s a freak too lol love to see the unlikely guys succeed than the ones like Joshua who’s been handed everything.

Still don't think slugging it out with Andy Ruiz is a mistake. I'm sorry, Ruiz is still Ruiz. The same guy who lost to Joseph Parker and couldn't hurt him. Aj is the guy with the power, and he can use it. You think Wilder would be scared to go toe to toe with Andy f'in Ruiz?

Red K for you sir. That's one of the dumbest posts I have ever read...

Talk is cheap. Besides that little off balance knockdown he scored on Ruiz AJ was undressed. I don't know how he's gonna win the rematch short of landing 1 huge punch, because he's not a better boxer.

From that point on his legs were shaky and it looked like his mind was 1000 miles away, not to mention the complete confusion he was displaying in his corner.
The only difference being Lewis was down and out after getting clipped in those 2 fights and Joshua got up and tried to continue (in body if not in spirit). Maybe his corner should have spotted the signs of concussion at the end of the 3rd and stopped it, but then they'd have taken criticism for not allowing the champ to go out on his shield.
He didn't go out on his shield, he quit in the corner.
