Why did GGG turn down these fights?

The ball is in Canelo's court now. He's the one who holds the key to the third fight.
I believe the trilogy will eventually happen. Question is when?
But what if Alvarez takes an interim fight in September, would you expect to see Loeffler/GGG wait or make another Rolls-level fight?Comment

Triple Diva doesnt want to get schooled 2x a year so he cherrypicks the likes of Vanes & Steve Wilkos before Canelo kicks his ass

When did he turn down Charlo?
But I can explain alot of them.
Derevyanchenko: not enough time to prepare. Canelo failed a drug test and they needed a replacement on short notice who wasn't too challenging. Then IBF stripped him after the fact so the fight never happened.
Saunders: it looked like the Canelo rematch wasn't going to happen. He was almost signed to fight Saunders but then Canelo accepted. More money so went with that. Besides, Saunders has admitted to turning down GGG in the past and avoiding GGG when he was in his prime. This is common knowledge
Andrade: Golovkin probably felt like he needed an easy comeback fight after the long lay off and the loss to Canelo. Andrade is a challenge. I think he should fight Andrade next tho
Charlo: I don't think he ever turned a fight down with this guy. If he did, show me the source.Comment

Other than Saunders which Middleweights didn't he fight prior to Canelo. You're full of hot air as usual. Andrade and Charlo weren't in the same division when Golovkin was building his brand. Saunders came right out and said he didn't want to fight him. Eubank got derailed by Eubanks father. At the time he fought Canelo he was at the tail end of his career and decided to put money first to set up his future like many other world champion before him and the ones after him have and will do. Priorities change with circumstances. Priorities change for everyone as they get older and face the end when their money ending career comes to an end. Yes this last fight was terrible. It's not the end of the world. You don't have to jump off a cliff because you are so disillusioned by Golovkin you decide to dedicate your life to starting an endless stream io threads all on the same topic and decide you just can't go on living in a world where this type of thing is allowed to happen.Comment

If he did, show me the source.Golovkin made a request to receive an immediate trilogy fight with Canelo - but the WBC denied that request and ordered him to face the WBC interim-champion, Charlo, in a final eliminator. The winner would land Canelo.
World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman is hoping that Jermall Charlo and Gennady Golovkin move forward with an ordered WBC final middleweight eliminator. The current WBC world champion is Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.
BoxingScene.com/NoSparring: How about Jermall Charlo and Showtime? You could do a one and done with them.
Loeffler: No. Charlo doesn’t make sense. That’s not going to happen.
A massive shakeup has been occurring around boxing in regards to network implications with especially influential consequences in the middleweight division. We’re about two weeks removed since Canelo Alvarez rocked the sporting world that reached more than just casual fans – it made international financial headlines. The new streaming service DAZN offered to American audiences (as well as Canada, Japan, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria) had finally made a splash with a record shattering deal that genuinely could alter how boxing contracts are negotiated, both on an individual level for fighters and with their promoters, should they have one at the time of signing.
The saunders figure was agreed to BEFORE the first Canelo fight when GGG was still saying he wanted all the belts
And there is no justification for turning down Derevyanchenko and picking an inactive JMW in Vanes. No justification at all.
Canelo had a longer layoff than GGG and he fought GGG right away.Last edited by Motorcity Cobra; 06-11-2019, 07:31 AM.Comment

They love that "needs to earn a shot" line. Andrade, a champion, needs to earn a shot. Smmfh
I like Andrade but he needs to earn a shot at one of the big dogs. He’s proven nothing at 160lbs.
