Who has lost their shirt financially after a great career?

    Hi all,
Can I get a running list of boxers who ended up broke or nearly broke after having a successful career? If they had a huge meltdown because of drugs or criminal actions, I'm not interested. What I am looking for is the guy who got up and competed but wasn't smart about managing his money during his career. I'm not looking to spark a flamewar around how promoters, managers, etc are scummy.

Just looking for names and I can do the research.

As an example, Genaro "Chicanito" Hernández. Guy wins multiple large purses but apparently couldn't afford medical insurance (Robert Arum pays it) for his cancer treatments and Mayweather paid for his funeral. It's not meant as a sign of disrespect as I don't know the full story but a cautionary tale for up-and-coming boxers who are starting to earn real money.

    Appreciate the knowledge share.

Evander Holyfield went totally broke and was forced to auction off his world title belts, fight worn trunks/gloves, and even his 1984 Olympic medal back in 2012.

Shane Mosely; nasty divorce settlement. Antonio Tarver; drug problems, spousal support issues.

I think both fighters essentially lost everything.
