Honestly Wilder/Oritz 2 should not be happening.

Why is Whyte hyped so much?
He went life and death with Chisora and Parker and that’s about all he has done.

Ortiz is legit. There is a reason fury Joshua and the rest haven’t fought him.

And that reason is he chose not to fight AJ

Im a Wilder fan but this rematch makes no sense it will be entertaining but Whyte deserves a title shot more than Ortiz .

Why is this fight happening and not Whyte
Because Whyte is being promoted by Eddie Hearn, and Wilder's guys do not like negotiations with Eddie. Same with Frank Warren.

I suppose that is the reason, when Dillian Whyte toured the US looking for options, Wilder suggested to him to sign-up with Al-Haymon, fight Ortiz and he will definitely give him a title shot (a voluntary one). That would have made negotiations much easier. Whyte could have signed up with Al-Haymon for a 3-fight deal and gotten his title shot.

Huh? I'm talking the Ortiz rematch. Otherwise Whyte should have taken his final eliminator.

Ortiz may end up like Zab Judah or Stevenson. And I'm not kidding around, the guy is ancient and he is fighting the hardest puncher alive for a second time

Was the final eliminator called by WBC already? There are rumours this Rivas fight will be a final eliminator but nothing confirmed by Suleiman.

IDK why anyone thinks Whyte is a good fight.

His defense is bad... he won't last more than four rounds.

Ortiz, Usyk, Miller, Hrgovic, and Ruiz Jr. are all more competitive.

I'd rather see Wilder vs Ortiz II than Wilder vs Whyte.

At worst they seem fights of equal-ish value/threat to Wilder's 0.

Joshua has had 3 years to fight Ortiz. Eddie has them both at one point and it was a easy fight to make... rewind 2 years and wilder has already beaten him and Eddie and co want to call him out with 5 weeks notice?
                      Doesn’t add up to me.
