Feasting on bums has largely been wilders preserve. Its why none of his fights have ever been PPV until the fight wih fury who chicken legs thought would be easy meat.
Why didn’t Wilder fight any top heavyweight until his 40th fight?

Hearn does talk well but Matchroom is a big shythouse and they don't protect their boxers. You've a Josh Kelly who just turned pro like two years ago. And rather than find a boxer whose style he could easily beat in the US with his style at the MSG event, they decided to match him up with a relentless fighter that's awkward for his style. Ditto Coyle. They also almost got pricey killed by throwing him in the ring with Povetkin. Why let a guy as chinny as that fight a guy with power like Povetkin?I appreciate the civil convo. Cheers. Hearn is a great promoter because here we talking about him. Promoters aren’t real people though, they always on. It’s like being a lawyer can only look at it one way. They even see how they could do a better job for their opponent. If all promoters truly hated eachother than nobody would ever aspire to be one. They can really only relate to eachother. They hate the fans worse than eachother. Scumbag is part of it. Money is their legacy. I might even say AJ losing to Ruiz shows how great Hearn was. AJ was the man before even having to fight in the states. To borrow from the sex pistols “it’s the great rock n roll swindle”. It’s prize fighting, all about what ur worth. At least if ur overrated uve captured the fans in some way, it’s a compliment. I think AJ is all class, and I can see why people would want him to be the man. But nobody gets it all.
Josh hasn't fought for 9 months and he has always had problems with short guys. But rather than give him a Trevor Bryan who looks the part or just any tall boxer that he can beat easily, this clown matched him with a short fat guy with extremely fast hands who's a top boxer on 5 wks notice. If you follow Matchroom, you'll know that's why a lot of Matchroom boxers stay losing. You just have to know how to protect boxers, they're not machines. Fury is coming off a fight with Wilder and it's understandable why they had to match him with Schwarz. Same with Wilder and why they made Breazeale his mandatory and stay denying Whyte. If Fury had been on Matchroom, they would have matched him with Rivas to kill his body that isn't 100% right with body shots.
It's easy to talk shyt everywhere like Hearn does and stay in front of the camera 24/7 when you're not the one getting punched in the face/head. And his big mouth has brought more harm to Josh than help him. Josh would've been as big as his without Hearn because he was the golden boy from the Olympics. But Hearn definitely wouldn't be who he's without Josh.
Once Josh wins the rematch, he needs to just fight his easy mandatories until he rinses his contract out with Matchroom. Then leave and take big fights with Fury and Wilder when he starts promoting himself. Hearn is a scumbag that lives vicariously through him and Matchroom is terrible when it comes to matchmaking.Comment

Ur right I don’t know how the rest of matchroom fighters have done, or even when the old man was in charge. But I know all promoters focus on their cash cow. I guess u need sum good people working with you to tend to the other prospects. I’m no fan of Hearn. He blew one of the biggest fights as it could have been. But maybe secretly he wants to lash out and say he was lucky enough to get AJ this far? I truly appreciate someone like you who can give an honest opinion on a Brit promoter, shows that it’s ur fighters that ur looking out for. Roy Shaw will always be my favourite.Hearn does talk well but Matchroom is a big shythouse and they don't protect their boxers. You've a Josh Kelly who just turned pro like two years ago.
