Why didn’t Wilder fight any top heavyweight until his 40th fight?

I saw Fury’s first fight and knew he was skilled, enough to catch each fight since. Not surprised by him beating Wlad at all. If u live in a world where nobody gave Fury a chance then what’s ur opinion worth anyway? A boxing fan would be happy that Wilder has a lot of fights. They would love him if he was a UK fighter.

About 20 Brits all in Ricky Hatton shirts flying to the floyd v Hattom fight, segregated themselves in a room at an air port. None of them drank. I got hammered. I love Ricky. I walked in and yelled “There’s only oooonnnne.....” waiting for them to fill in the blank. Nobody said ***** and stared. I chewed them out for it and nobody said *****. Brits ain’t throwing no tomatoes.
      You're obviously not a Brit.

No boxer will get away with fighting 39 tomato cans like Wilder did out here.

I do not deserve any respect so **** acknowledging stuff? Wow, and you accuse me of DEFLECTING? All i said was Wilders progress was slow and it if had been quicker, or atleast in line with normal speed of progress he would be more popular than he is. Im not even ripping in to Wilder here but you got all feminine and defensive. Whats wrong with you Wilder fans? Why do you get so defensive about even the slightest of questions about Deontay Wilder? Are you his wife?

Most of Wilders early fights are a month apart and sum even just weeks. I know u can appreciate a fighter staying busy early in his career. It’s still experience. Have a look on boxrec at Dillian Whytes opponents records before he fought AJ. How was Audley Harrison something in the UK? David Price? Naseem didn’t have an all World resume either. Being big in the UK is just that. I’m Canadian and we protect our fighters, but it doesn’t help them achieve greatness only money. AJ could use sum more experience, especially cause he started late. But financially it’s been great for him. But he got destroyed the first time he really travelled. So will brit promoters try and squeeze more money out of the UK? Or will they try and get their fighters sum experience travelling? Basically is the lesson “Never leave the UK” or is it “We shoulda left the UK sooner”. It’s a tough call. I know my boxing back to Tom Cribb, so I respect everything UK does for boxing.

I agree. Josh has been rushed in his career and they should have let him take the normal route before feeding him to the sharks. That’s why you have the likes of Wilder and Fury who turned pro 5 years before him and before he started boxing thinking they’re all from the same era, lol.

Also, the UK is a funny and demanding country. When Josh turned pro in 2013 and he was fighting journeymen like he should. The press was all over him and everyone was demanding that he needs to stop up his opponents.

Then you have Hearn who’s a shrewd operator that never lets his boxers develop before throwing them in the sea to swim and that’s why a lot of Matchroom boxers stay losing. Hearn is a scumbag. If I were a boxer, I’ll never sign with Matchroom. He doesn’t understand the fact that boxers need to be protected and matched properly until they’re ready. The tosser just love hearing his own voice and being on camera all the time talking shyt. Then again, I don’t blame him because he’s not the one getting punched in the face/head.

I appreciate the civil convo. Cheers. Hearn is a great promoter because here we talking about him. Promoters aren’t real people though, they always on. It’s like being a lawyer can only look at it one way. They even see how they could do a better job for their opponent. If all promoters truly hated eachother than nobody would ever aspire to be one. They can really only relate to eachother. They hate the fans worse than eachother. Scumbag is part of it. Money is their legacy. I might even say AJ losing to Ruiz shows how great Hearn was. AJ was the man before even having to fight in the states. To borrow from the sex pistols “it’s the great rock n roll swindle”. It’s prize fighting, all about what ur worth. At least if ur overrated uve captured the fans in some way, it’s a compliment. I think AJ is all class, and I can see why people would want him to be the man. But nobody gets it all.

                      Who cares?

Right now he is considered 1 or 1B as the BEST UNDEFEATED HW Champions in the World.

You can say Fury won (opinion) but it doesn't matter OFFICIALLY it was a DRAW!!!

                      PERIOD!!!

You cannot say AJ won or had a DRAW because he got BEAT TO SLEEP!!!

                      PERIOD!!!!

So one guy got pushed harder and faster and GOT BEAT THE FLUX UP and the other was brought along slowly and is UNDEFEATED still with his Title and considered the best or 2nd best HW in the World.....

Honestly who would you want to be?
