Anyone who loses two on the bounce after being unbeaten is going to take a huge setback! Is that a surprise to anyone?

... of course that AJ has nothing in common with all those cited above...

there is no way aj can fix those flaws in 4 or 5 months this is not a good look to throw him back in the fire like that without fully letting everything settle and fixing those big flaws.

Of course two loses will damage him. He won't have a belt or a title shot. And the fear factor has gone now - fighters will believe they can get to him.

But the people claiming he's just rubbish are forgetting some very recent history. He beat Klitschko, Parker, Povetkin. Rubbish fighters don't do that.

Assume he bounces back - yes, he still lacks a few things but he's got plenty going for him too. Still a top fighter.

He was notoriously bad at drug dealing. The standard of dealing in North London has been much better since he started boxing.

Two consecutive losses in a row to the same opponent would permanently ruin AJ's career as well as Matchroom Sport's. They are rolling the dice on this rematch.

I wouldn't mind Anthony Joshua taking an extended leave away from the sport in order to reevaluate and refresh himself. He is only 29 years old and there is time for him to make a comeback.

However, I would put this rematch off for a while and allow Joshua to get some rest and come back later to heal and recover from that TKO loss. This is a very high stakes game they are playing with Anthony Joshua's career.

I remember that, back in 1951, SRR took the Turpin rematch in two months...

absolutely spot on. There's much more to boxing than never ending articles about what this clown says

I agree. He's been exposed. Moreover, if he doesn't make the necessary changes, adjustments or improvements. His career is ruined.
