Ah got it, so the rematch is his last fight on the current DAZN deal.

Network fanboys rooting for networks rather than fans' benefit. LOL.

Why would fans want this on PPV?

Bizarre this is even a thread, Hearn confirmed in his interview with Chris Mannix the rematch will be on DAZN.

Showtime isn't going to give him a billion dollars ever; Haymon is as close to Showtime as anyone is, and he was able to get ~$250m for 4 years (would take 15 years to get $1b from Showtime at that rate).

You add that only the first two years of the deal were guaranteed (likely on an escalator with most of the money back-loaded too).

Greed is a mother****er; especially if you've likely got $800m waiting for you to hang around.

Ruiz won the fight. His promotion dictates network and venue now.

                  Standard in USA rematch contracts.

Usually after a beatdown like that you don't need a rematch because you already know who the better fighter is but ok.

                    It's Joshua's funeral lol
You would be right if it wasn't for the fact that Ruiz' fatass got dropped and almost finished at one point in the fight.

He's got a ton of heart, but it's no given that he will win the rematch against the pharmaceutical machine that is Anthony Joshua.

Referring to Hearn and making deals for his fighters. Nothing to do with a billion pounds or dollars. Hearn would take his fighters to any network that pays the highest money. He loves money, he isn’t some dumb truck who would stick with DAZN for “Loyalty”
