Is aj waiting for wilder to get old?

Do you all think AJ is waiting for Wilder to grow out of his prime in order to fight him?
He did mention he will fight him in around 2 years, he gave us a hint.

Wilder said he's marinating this fight so I guess he's not getting old if he's happy to wait for years.

Mammoth 4 years can be a big difference when you apply it to boxing and when they are in their 30s

Prior to the Ruiz loss, I think Wilder was happy for it to be a big payday at the back end of his career and Joshua was happy to see his chances of winning improving. My view is that Joshua was chasing it, but it made sense to both to not have the fight.

Not much has changed in that regard really. Except it may not end up being quite the payday Wilder expected. It certainly doesn't make any sense now. Wilder needs Joshua to get a belt back and put himself back at (or near) the top.

What's it matter now? He clearly has his hands full with Ruiz, let alone Wilder.

Wilder will knock his block clean off his shoulders. At 45 years old.

What the hell are you talking about? AJ has been trying to fight him for years now.

AJ wants (rather wanted) to fight Wilder but on his terms and by giving Wilder a lesser payday. Wilder wanted the fight but on equal terms. Joshua is (was) waiting for Wilder to accept it on his terms and Wilder is waiting for Joshua to accept it on equal terms.

The situation now has changed. Whether it will be Joshua vs Wilder, Ruiz vs Wilder, Joshua vs Ortiz, Ruiz vs Ortiz, Joshua vs Fury, or Ruiz vs Fury is yet to be determined let alone the percentage split.
