From my understanding this company is basically a rich Ukrainian guy & not really a bunch of investors anyway so I assume this cat just takes x dollars from GGG & gives him y % of the net when there is some net to split up.



I doubt DAZN cares about all that. Fans know Canelo. Fans know GGG. And they've had two close fights already that did good PPV numbers. DAZN likely wants Canelo vs GGG III first & these other fights with Andrade, Mall or Smith a distant second cuz the reality is few casuals know these guys. DAZN is trying to get more people watching their product. A trilogy fight does that as tired of these two fighting as hardcore fans might be.

A fight with GGG in September would not surprise me. That is unless Rolls spoils the party tomorrow night. It can happen if Drake shows up to tomorrow night to help Rolls, his Canadian countryman, and puts a hex on GGG.

Canelo and Oscar are not getting paid by hour and subject to the dictates of the "boss" as i suspect many of the posters on this site are. DAZN does not control the money, it is the CONTRACT that DAZN signed with Canelo that controls the money. Likewise, the CONTRACT that DAZN signed with Golden boy controls that relationship. Everyone is free to pursue their own self-interest within the confines of those respective contracts. This will hold notwithstanding Golovkin's whiney tantrums. If Golovkin has real pelotas he would fight Andrade or Charlo for a title and make a fight with Canelo that much more compelling. That assumes he beats Andrade or Charlo.

As I recall Canelo signed with DAZN before DAZN signed Golovkin so it is doubtful that they would have stipulated that Canelo fight Golovkin because at that point Golovkin could have signed with Al Haymon, Bob Arum or someone else. DAZN can, of course, offer Canelo a bunch more money to make a fight with Golovkin more attract financially for him. We shall see.

Dazn controls the money of everyone involved, therefore dazn will get what dazn wants. Dazn May wise up and come to their senses and realise these primadonnas are vastly overpriced

So GGG, who isn't a bigger star than Canelo, is a partner with DAZN, while Canelo's boss is DAZN. Sure lil G, sure. An employee doesn't get paid more than a partner of a certain company.

Golovkin is as much a partner with DAZN as a Walmart associate is a partner with the Walmart Corporation. To put it more charitable Golovkin is as much a partner with DAZN as the local air conditioning contractor that services the local Walmart store as he is a partner with Walmart Corporation.

On a more serious note, I have noticed that Golovkin has become more and more irrational in the last couple of years. I think that his lack of defense has taken a toll on his brain. His neurons are misfiring.

That's your opinion though not what actually happened.. Like for instance most people thought jacobs gave ggg a proper lesson in boxing and made him look like an amateur. Officially ggg won though..

But whatever the result of the canelo ggg fights, canelo is only increasing his resume and accolades while ggg is in fantasy land dreaming of being part owner of dazn when he actually has no platform of his own nor any relevant fighters in his minuscule stable...
