GGG has a deal with DAZN that allows him to put on his own shows & he's able to invest into DAZN to get back end money at some future date potentially.

Canelo is getting $365M for 11 fights.

Canelo is likely going to make more money in the short term, & maybe even the long term idk, no argument from me about that, but GGG has more of a partnership with DAZN then Canelo does.

I believe Jacobs signed with DAZN after Canelo, but from what I heard he was guaranteed to be next up for Canelo when he signed. Idk how they pushed that to Canelo, but it seems like they did.

Idk if GGG got a similar assurance from DAZN to get next, but it wouldn't surprise me.

One of the higher up DAZN guys has already said DAZN has the ability to veto Canelo opponents. And anyone who doesn't think DAZN wants to make Canelo vs GGG III next is nuts. Canelo vs GGG III is a casual fan drawing fight. Canelo vs Callum f#cking Smith or Demetrious Andrade isn't a blip on the casual fans radar. And if DAZN doesn't draw in fans then Canelo might not get all that $365M & if he does draw in fans his next DAZN deal might be for $1B.

I know that Golovkin DAZN promised to schedule a specific number of broadcasts showcasing fighters signed by GGG's promotion company. I believe Golden Boy also has a similar arrangement. As for DAZN stock, I know it is not a publically traded company so it is hard to sort that out without reading the contract. I know that Perform Group, the parent company of DAZN is reorganizing its product lines. Don't know where Golovkin's partnership fits in if at all. But that is a minor point in the grand scheme of things. Golovkin should fight Andrade or Charlo first who are more deserving of a shot to fight Canelo than he is.

Yea GBP does. Canelo does not. GGG does.

That was stated in his deal. Idk how they are doing it exactly either tbf, but its part of the deal.

From my understanding this company is basically a rich Ukrainian guy & not really a bunch of investors anyway so I assume this cat just takes x dollars from GGG & gives him y % of the net when there is some net to split up.

Golovkin should fight Andrade or Charlo first who are more deserving of a shot to fight Canelo than he is.
I doubt DAZN cares about all that. Fans know Canelo. Fans know GGG. And they've had two close fights already that did good PPV numbers. DAZN likely wants Canelo vs GGG III first & these other fights with Andrade, Mall or Smith a distant second cuz the reality is few casuals know these guys. DAZN is trying to get more people watching their product. A trilogy fight does that as tired of these two fighting as hardcore fans might be.

$465 million between these two and they can't even make them fight. Jesus.

Canelo just gotta be like "fair play old man" as Oscar looks awkwardly at the ground.

GGG losin this weekend would be sweet.

He has been talking a lot of sh/t this week for a guy with no belts, no leverage, and what? 1 win in his last 3 fights?

If he is an elevated position as oppose to Canelo, why is Canelo's contract worth almost 3 times the amount GGG's is?

Even his comments about AJ, this dude will be shocked how many fans turn against him if he slips Saturday.
