I believe they can try to veto or provide reasons to exclude a ref or judge.

but they cannot choose a referee with another camp. it's up to the commission to appoint the officials.

This time around the Bronze Bomber is taking no shit from the California State Athletic Commission. He felt they screwed him the last time with Jack Reiss as the assigned referee. I am pretty sure that he Luis Ortiz will agree on a neutral referee however

Wilder is a type of guy who doesn't throw tantrums or come up with excuses like a diva, but he is looking like one. Now it's the refs fault that it was a draw, but never mind fury outboxing him the majority of the fight.
